the rain had let up by the time y/n reached school. as usual, she made her way to the teacher's lounge, to find that dusty blue bin once more.

today, the umbrella was there, just as expected. her lips stretched as she saw the sight of that dull red. as she grabbed the handle, her fingers brushed against something different, something thicker, than the usual soft paper. y/n pulled the folded note out carefully, wondering who would leave one this time.

unfolding it, she scanned the neat handwriting.

"if you're going to take my umbrella, at least make sure it doesn't get taken by someone else."

y/n's eyes narrowed, reading the words again as she leaned against the wall.

who was this guy?

she'd thought the person leaving the notes was just some random stranger who'd given up trying to find their umbrella. but now, she wasn't so sure.

"well," she snickered, "do not worry. i am the only one using it." y/n crumpled the note in her hand and shoved it into her pocket, like she always did. the rain was still pouring heavily so she wasted no time in walking out with the item in her hand.
