All rights go to the glorious ABC Family.

Kirsten Clark would be the death of him. She really would. She had taken him to a basement in which a bomb was held. She had dragged him to a rave, tried to get answers from a grief-stricken newlywed husband, almost got them run over, blown up again, and almost got her brain fried.

Basically, she got him through Hell and back.

He should've hated her. He should've wanted to kill her ruthlessly, make her feel absolute pain. So it really didn't make sense as to why he was falling in love with her. How do you fall in love with a girl like Kirsten? He wasn't in love with her looks, he was sure about that.

The biggest surprise, however, was when she agreed to go on a date with him. Then again when she stayed over that night. An even bigger surprise was what they did that night.

Kirsten Clark was full of suprises. And Cameron Goodkin was willing to go through every single one.

Meaning a year after the couple's first date, the exact date of the anniversary, Cameron had a suprise for her. The two now stood under a bridge, skipping rocks on the small river that nobody could ever seem to find.

The blonde was distracted for a minute, looking for a good rock. Cameron took the chance to pull out the small black box that was in his pocket. He cleared his throat. Kirsten turned around, and even in moonlight, Cameron could see the curiosity in her eyes.

"Um, uh, well-"

"Cameron I might be able to understand what you're trying to say if you stop stuttering."

He was willing to put up with Kirsten having no filter as well.

"Well, we've been together for a year now and-"

"Point please, Cameron."

So he got down on one knee. And he pulled out the box from behind his back. And he watched as her eyes lit up as he opened the box and she saw the ring inside.

"I think my point is obvious, Stretch."

"Cameron, I-I don't know-" Kirsten's voice was faltering, and he started to wonde if surprises was really his thing.

"Kirsten, if it's too soon we don't-"

"No, no it's not that." Kirsten cut him off, shaking her head. "It's just, what if I can't be there for you. I'm not good at caring about people, Cameron. How can I marry you if I can't care about you?"

Cameron smiled. "I think the last year is a perfect example of how you can care about me."

He kissed her then, and kissed her hard. It was long, even Kirsten could tell. They both broke apart at the same time, only because they needed air. After a while, Kirsten whispered something. At first Cameron didn't realize what she said. Then, it hit him.

"Okay."

He looked up. "Okay?"

"Okay, I'll marry you."

Kirsten was smiling now, really truly smiling. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and placed her head on his shoulder.

Cameron wrapped his arms around her waist. Kirsten Clark was dangerous and full of surprise. But there was no way he would ever change that.
