Description: Kirsten gives Cameron a key to her house, and he uses it only when he finds the time right.

All rights go to ABC Family. I don't like doing time skips and stuff, so I'll set the scene for your little minds out there. Let's say there was a day in between the night Kirsten broke it off with Liam and the day Cameron - gulp - died. The beginning is that day, and the time skip goes a week or so after they revive Cameron. Why wouldn't they? ABCF if you're reading this I am begging you. Revive him.

Theory on the Halloween episode btw: How many other people think that it won't be the conclusion to that cliffhanger? Like, there really was a day in between or something. Or maybe Kirsten leaves before Cameron's heart starts again and he keeps appearing in her head, or something. If any of you do a speculation story for the Halloween episode, link it in the comments please.

Cameron and Kirsten now sat in Kirsten's living room, arguing about what to watch on their day off. Cameron repeatedly asked for her to try Doctor Who, Kirsten fighting for a documentary on computer systems.

"Come on! You can get all the nerd you need out of Doctor Who! A guy in a spaceship beats a documentary any day!" Cameron said almost every sentence with excitement, telling he was getting close to Kirsten cracking.

Kirsten let out a sigh, followed by an annoyed expression. "Fine. I'm getting popcorn." Cameron smiled with triumph, grabbing the remote and found the show on Netflix. He heard a microwave timer go off, and patiently waited for Kirsten to arrive with the buttery treat.

As soon as she did, he started the episode. Kirsten looked at him with confusion. "Why is the episode called Rose?"

"You'll get it in a minute." The two then sat there on separate sides of the couch, the popcorn in between them. By the end of the episode, Kirsten had a spark of interest in her eyes. She glanced over at him before snatching the remote. "Hey! Give that back!"

Kirsten ignored Cameron's pleas and instead went through the number of episodes, tallying them up in her head. "This should take about four or five days, including breaks for health reasons."

Cameron snatched the remote back from her. "Don't forget work."

"Yeah. That." Kirsten's eyes had a certain element of fear in them now, but all emotion was erased when she looked over at him. "I want to give you something." She stood up, Cameron following her into the kitchen. She opened up a drawer, going through it before she found what she came for.

The blonde pulled out a house key, then held it out to Cameron. "It's a key for my house. In case anything happens." Cameron was stunned, no words coming out of his mouth. He silently took the key, staring at it in wonder. He looked back up at her, surprise evident on his face.

"You never give me stuff." That wasn't as true as he thought it was though. She had given him pretty much nothing in terms of tangible things, but she had given him something so much better. Although she didn't trust him with everything, Kirsten trusted him to get her in and out of stitches, and trusted him enough to come with her on field work.

Breaking out of his thoughts, he listened as Kirsten spoke. "If I hadn't left the door unlocked when I brought Marta here, I would have been screwed, end of story. Now you have a key so you can always get in. So you can always find me."

"It only unlocks one thing, Kirsten."

"I meant that last part figuratively."

"Oh, yeah. Right." Cameron cleared his throat. "So, Doctor Who?"

Kirsten nodded. "Doctor Who."

--- One Week After He Died ---

Cameron walked into his apartment with Linus and Camille, who had both insisted on making sure he got settled in okay. They helped him unpack the things he had gotten someone to take to the hospital, stuff like a blanket, a comfortable pillow (the ones at the hospital were as hard as rocks), some books, and his laptop.
