! they be doin some funky stuff in this chapter and it starts at the very first word!

this isn't relevant to the plot in any way at all, i just wrote it to make a point lol

gentle reminder that this is my book - if you dont like the ship, if you dont like my writing style, if the vibes are off, you can just back out. it is not necessary (or very nice actually) to criticise what im writing when im doing it purely for enjoyment. i cant please everyone, and i happen to like making two FICTIONAL CHARACTERS that have NO SEMBLANCE OR REFERENCE TO THE PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE kiss each other. yay for me.

hate comments are comments all the same, and comments boost my writing. so thanks, i guess, in some sick and twisted way :)

"If some part of you isn't buried deep inside me within the next five or so minutes I am going to physically die."

Well, shit. I did not mean to say that out loud.

The sound of badly-suppressed laughter blessed my ears. God, I loved that laugh. I could listen to it forever, play it on repeat, my own little melody of joy and happiness that I could pocket and keep with me until I'm old and wrinkly and still listening in awe every time he opens his mouth.

I swallowed the beautiful sound, pushing my mouth against his yet again, dragging him down into the depths of hell with me. But what was the difference between heaven and hell, really, when I was with him? Was I not in heaven, with a warm hand steadying my waist and another pinning me against the wall?

Unfortunately, there is a somewhat bothersome need for the human body to breathe. With great reluctance, I separated my lips from his, not even a hair's breath away from each other as I whispered. "I'm not joking."

"I know."

I felt a tug on the back of my head, and the makeshift blindfold slipped off my face. I could finally see the face whose pretty mouth granted me the first taste of heaven.

I blinked. Several times. Several times in a row, to make sure I wasn't seeing things. "...Minho?"

He stepped away from me, and my instinct was to tug him back to where he belonged, pressed against me, closer and closer until there wasn't a single molecule of space left between us.

"You can... you can leave, now, if you want to. After you've seen my face."

"...What?"

"I said you can leave and I'm sorry I kissed you without your knowledge and I would beg you to not hate me for it please but I completely understand why if you decide to never talk to me again because what I did was really kind of fucked up and-"

"Slow down, Minho. I could never hate you. Not after I knew you could kiss like that, at least."

"Sungs."

"Minho."

"I'm being serious!" The corners of his mouth cracked into the beginnings of a grin.

"I am too! Like I was serious when I said that I'd spontaneously combust if some part of your beautiful self isn't inside me in the next... 4 minutes, now?"

I didn't know it was possible for someone's eyes to physically catch fire, but from the way Minho's eyes burnt into me, I knew I had started a raging inferno somewhere in that sea of stars.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Minho."

"It's not just the alcohol?"
