JISUNG

I closed my eyes and fell back on to my bed. I knew, as soon as Hyunjin had barged into our dorm with Seungmin in tow, that there was no way that the dining room thing was going to be left alone. The Thing - I refuse to acknowledge it as anything else - was still replaying in my mind over and over again and I just couldn't get it out. It overpowered any song that I had on repeat, any random lyrics stuck in my head: it always occupied a space in my brain, every second, every minute, every hour, and it wouldn't leave me alone.

Every time I think of him and his stupid eyes and the stupidly small distance between us, I wanted to bury myself and never have to face him again because I don't know if I could take it. At least the cheesecake was nice.

Though I'm starting to doubt if the cheesecake was worth it - and trust me, that's rare - as three pairs of inquisitive eyes stared me down. I had nothing to say for myself. My eyes shifted from staring pointlessly at the ceiling to Felix, who, upon making eye contact, proceeded to wiggle his eyebrows at me and give me a nudge.

Not wanted to deal with that, I looked to Hyunjin, who was practically vibrating with excitement, his face red from trying to hold in laughter. Nope. He was worse than Felix.

Moving on to the last person that had invaded our dorm, my eyes landed on Seungmin, who seemed to be deep in thought about something or other.

The silence was broken by Hyunjin. "Sooooo..."

He rested his hands on his chin. "My dear Han Jisung, care to tell us what that whole thing was about?"

I threw my pillow at his face. "This is all your fault, Hwang Hyunjin!"

Even without looking, I knew that he had pulled a face when I called him by his full name. "How is this my fault again? What did I do this time?"

"If you had given me a bit of your cheesecake I wouldn't have had to practically beg him for his!"

"Technically you begged for the spoon when you could have easily stood up and walked over to get a new one without using Minho's."

"Well I didn't think of that right there and then, did I!"

"What were you thinking of that got you so distracted then? Hm? That part wasn't my fault, right?"

I rolled over on to my stomach and buried my head under the covers. Groaning, I let out a muffled "I was thinking of the cheesecake", knowing how flimsy of an excuse that was. Hyunjin let out a noise of disbelief, and I peaked out from under the duvet to see him staring at me with an 'are you serious' expression on his face.

I threw the duvet at his face.

Felix laughed as Hyunjin struggled out of the duvet that was currently smothering him. He turned to me, smirk evident on his face. "I mean, you did seem pretty invested in the begging part. All my years of knowing you, I have never seen you blush that much in such a short amount of time." He wiped a fake tear, looking towards Seungmin. "Our little baby Jisungie is growing up..."

He couldn't help but break character, and joined Hyunjin rolling about laughing on the floor as Seungmin only shook his head with a fond smile on his face. He was always the calmest one out of us three; very rarely did he lose his cool. Hyunjin, who was still struggling to breathe, managed to sit up long enough to sputter out half a sentence.

"Someone should have recorded that because I'm sorry Jisung but your face when you realized you didn't have a spoon-"

That was all he could say before he was back on the floor, a renewed round of laughter sounding from the two as Hyunjin imitated - not at all accurately, in my opinion - my expression as the realization hit. Even Seungmin giggled a bit before he sobered up as I glared at him.

Coughing, he ignored Felix and Hyunjin, instead looking at me with a half-curious expression. "Have you ever considered that you may have... special... feelings for him?"

Special feelings... I nodded my head. "Definitely. He's the most annoying person I've met, aside from my parents, I think. Honestly don't know how he does it, but he manages to make me pissed within five seconds of me being in presence every single time."

Seungmin blinked. Then he tried again. "A bit more... positive special feelings?"

I immediately shook my head. "Nope. Not at all. Nada. None."

Raising an eyebrow - Minho does it smoother, and he looks better doing it - Seungmin fixed me with an 'are you sure' stare. I returned it with a 'yes I'm absolutely sure' stare.

Sure, he gets my heart racing, and my cheeks heat up whenever he winks at me, and the way that he says 'squirrel' whilst looking at me with his galaxy eyes make me feel weird, but that was the normal, everyday rival hate feelings, wasn't it?

Plus, he kicked me first. I'm not forgiving him for that, ever.

Seungmin only sighed, turning back to the two on the floor, attempting to drag at least one of them to sit up. Then, Hyunjin rolled over a bit too far and smacked his head on the corner of my bed. Clutching his head, his hyena laugh turned into something in between laughing and crying, and the tears streaming down his face was either from the pain or the laughter, I wasn't sure.

Serves him right for teasing me.
