JISUNG
Felix narrowly missed slapping me in the face with the leaflet, waving his hands around and bouncing on his heels in his enthusiasm. He'd been babbling about the new dance club for ages, talking my ear off the moment he got it from Hyunjin. Apparently, he had been granted permission to run a dance club in school or something, and he was holding a free trial of the class next Tuesday after classes.
The ray of sunshine beside me has been shining into my fucking eyes, whining about how we have to support our friend and that it would be good for me to loosen up and have fun since I haven't danced in forever. He's trying really hard, I'll give it to him.
But I don't think it's the dancing bit that he's interested in necessarily. At least, it isn't all the burning passion for dance he has. I saw how his eyes slid to Changbin as Hyunjin declared his newly founded club as his attempt to earn a bit more money at the lunch table today.
"Guess it'll be quite fun, I've not really tried my hand at dancing yet." As soon as Changbin reached for a leaflet, Felix was up and talking.
"Yeah, it'd be super fun! Very interesting to see if there are any good dancers in this school that I haven't met yet, and maybe learn about other people's styles." He snagged one of the leaflets Hyunjin had thrown on the table and mock saluted him, "I'll come support you, Hyunjin!"
Hyunjin grinned back at him. "Yeah, it'd be helpful to have a few cute boys go to the club - it'd probably be a better advertisement than any leaflet could compete with."
At this, Seungmin reached out to grab a leaflet, flashing Hyunjin a smirk. "Guess I'll be your best advert then, Hyunjin?" He glanced over the leaflet before pocketing it, "I'll come, but probably not stay for long. Not really tried dance before, not that keen to start."
Hyunjin put a hand on his heart. "Coming just for me? Weird way to propose but okay. And I can teach you, Minnie-"
He was cut off by a chip being thrown in his general direction, as well as an accompanying eyeroll from his best advertisement.
Chan huffed a sigh at the squabbling two - Hyunjin was now serenading Seungmin with Love Story, the lyrics muffled by Seungmin's hand over his mouth - before also taking a leaflet. "I'm more of a music and producing person myself, but I can drop by if I find the time. The producing homework is kicking my ass at the moment."
Jeongin smiled in sympathy. "I'll try and find time too. I'm pretty sure I have a tutor that day, but I'll see if I can move it to another day." He reached out for a leaflet too.
I looked at Minho. He was also quietly watching everything unfold, a small smile on his face as he watched our friends push each other around. Seungmin was now screaming about how Hyunjin licked his hand after he put it over his mouth, whilst Felix was trying and failing to calm him down. Changbin high fived Hyunjin with a smile, and Chan could only sigh with Jeongin shaking his head beside him. I nudged Minho, raising an eyebrow.
"Aren't you going to take part?"
He shook his head, eyes sparkling with an emotion I couldn't quite place. Mischief? Delight?
"Nah, I don't really feel like becoming one of Hyunjin's students. You?" He nudged me back.
I sighed, stretching out my hand to take a leaflet. Seungmin raised an eyebrow at me, but passed me one. I shoved it into my pocket without a second thought, turning to Minho and shrugging.
"Maybe. Can't be that bad. Depends if I can be bothered or not." I shot him a lazy smile, and he grinned back at me with the lopsided smile I had grown used to.
