Sailub looked at Pon who sat on the luxurious sofa in Sailub's personal office inside his huge mansion, Pon's small body was trembling under Sailub.

"do you know why you're here, Pon?" the rich mafia suddenly spoke up as Pon looked at him shaking his head, "i was told that I was bought from you, why me?" Pon asked.

"You're smaller than I expected." Sailub replied to that statement.

Pon blinked, unsure how to respond. Was that a compliment? An insult? He shifted awkwardly, folding his hands in front of him. "I... I'm sorry?"

Hemmawich's lips quirked into a smirk, though it didn't reach his eyes. "No need to apologize." He gestured to a sleek leather armchair near the window.

Pon hesitated but did as he was told, sinking into the chair. It was softer than it looked, but the comfort did little to ease the tension coiled in his stomach.

"well, I bought you." Hemmawich continued, his tone casual, as if they were discussing the weather.

Pon swallowed hard. "y-yea.. why?" The words felt strange on his tongue, foreign and wrong.

Hemmawich chuckled, a low, rumbling sound. He walked over to a nearby cabinet and poured himself a glass of amber liquid. He didn't offer any to Pon. "Let's call it... an arrangement."

Pon's eyes darted to the window. The city lights glittered in the distance, so close yet impossibly far. "Why me?" he asked softly. "Why would someone like you... want me?"

Hemmawich leaned against the edge of the cabinet, swirling the liquid in his glass. "You're obedient. Sweet. The kind of omega who knows his place." He took a sip, watching Pon over the rim of the glass. "And I like things that are... mine."

Pon's hands tightened in his lap. The word mine echoed in his head, heavy and suffocating.

"From now on," Hemmawich continued, "you'll live here. You'll follow my rules, and in return, your family will be taken care of. No more debts. No more struggling."

"My family?" Pon's head snapped up. "You'll help them?"

Hemmawich's eyes gleamed. "Of course. As long as you keep me happy."

Pon nodded slowly, the weight of the bargain sinking in. He wasn't doing this for himself, he never had. It was always about his family. If this was what it took to keep them safe, he would endure it.

"Good," Hemmawich said, setting his glass down. "meet me later here after you take a shower and I'll show you to our room. Get some rest. Tomorrow, we'll discuss your duties."

Pon stood, his legs shaky. He bowed slightly, unsure if it was the right thing to do, but Hemmawich seemed amused by the gesture.

"Pon," Hemmawich called as Pon turned to leave.

"Yes?" Pon glanced back, his heart pounding.

"Don't disappoint me."

The warning was clear. Pon nodded and followed the silent woman who had appeared in the doorway, leading him down a long corridor.

---

The room Sailub led him to was unlike anything Pon had ever seen. The bed was enormous, draped in soft, expensive linens, and the walls were painted a soothing shade of gray.

A large window overlooked the city, and a plush rug covered the hardwood floor. It was beautiful but it didn't feel like home, it wasn't like the one back home.

Sailub went back to his office for a little while to finish up work and left Pon alone in the room.

Pon sat on the edge of the bed, staring at his reflection in the window. He looked small, lost. His thoughts spiraled, questions and fears tangling together. What did Hemmawich expect from him? How was he supposed to fit into this world of luxury and power?

A soft knock at the door pulled him from his thoughts. He didn't answer, but the door opened anyway. The woman from before stepped inside, carrying a tray of food.

"You should eat," she said, setting the tray on a small table. "You'll need your strength."

Pon nodded, though he wasn't hungry. The smell of warm soup and fresh bread wafted through the air, but his stomach churned too much to consider eating.

The woman hesitated before speaking again. "You're lucky, you know."

Pon frowned. "Lucky?"

She nodded. "Most people who cross Mr. Hemmawich doesn't get second chances. But you... he chose you."

Pon didn't feel lucky. He felt like a lamb being led to the slaughter. But he kept that thought to himself. Instead, he forced a small smile and thanked her as she left the room.

Alone again, Pon sat at the table, staring at the bowl of soup. He picked up the spoon and took a small sip, the warmth spreading through his chest. It was good-comforting, even. But it did little to ease the ache in his heart.

As the city lights twinkled outside, Pon made a silent promise to himself. He would survive this. No matter what it took, he would endure. For his family. For the life he had promised to protect.

And maybe, just maybe, he would find a way to hold on to a piece of himself in the process.

he took a deep breath and settled in the bed trying to get comfortable knowing that the next day he'll go back serving and making a mafia happy in order to help my family back out there.

"Pon?" a soft whisper was heard and Pon glanced at the door that was opening.

it was Sailub he was now in his silk pajamas just like the one Pon was wearing and he had a smile on his face despite his fierce face, he surprisingly looks handsome.

"Khab?" Pon softly replied back as Pon gave him also a soft smile on the face.

the dimples on Sailub really charmed Pon and made his heart skip a beat, what a handsome man.

"get some rest, my omega.. tomorrow I'll discuss some important rules since you're now mine." said Sailub as Pon looked at him nodding his head and swallowed the lump in his throat.

"go to sleep, want anything?" asked Sailub as Pon looked at Sailub and pressed his lips together, "can I have an extra pillow? I want something I can cuddle with.." he softly whispered.

"mm, I'll call a maid to come and get you one, just lay down now and don't worry it'll come here in a minute." said Sailub.

Pon was embarrassed with the request yet he smiled as he nodded and laid down waiting for the extra pillow.

the maid entered the room and gave 3 extra pillows, the pillows were stiff, soft and cold it was perfect just what Pon loves, he smiled and thanked Sailub.

"t-thank you Khun.. good night khub.." softly whispered to Sailub as he hugged the pillows on his legs for his torso one for his side and hugged it tightly falling asleep.

Sailub smiled and replied "Good night, my Omega." as he stole a glance at Pon and laid down beside him and took the blanket and slept as well.
