CHAPTER 21

The days seemed to pass by in a flurry of excitement. Pon and Sailub were in the midst of preparing for a gender reveal party, a moment they had both eagerly awaited.

They had already made the decision to invite close friends and family, including the Pit Babe crew, who had become like a second family to Pon. They were ready to share the news of their baby, but what they didn't know yet was that the news would be twice as surprising.

Sailub, who had been busy with work, still managed to keep his focus on the planning. The baby-babies-had become his priority, and he didn't want anything to take away from this special time.

Pon, though still dealing with the usual pregnancy symptoms, had been excitedly involved in every part of the process. He was a little bit nervous.

Especially since this would be a celebration with so many people, but Sailub kept reassuring him that everything would be perfect.

The night before the party, after a busy day of setting up decorations and finalizing the plans, Sailub took Pon to their favorite quiet spot by the lake.

It had become their place of calm amidst the chaos of life, and Sailub thought it would be the perfect setting for a little surprise.

"Pon," Sailub started, his voice soft and filled with warmth, "there's something I need to tell you before tomorrow."

Pon looked at him, his brow furrowing slightly. "What is it, Sai? You're starting to worry me."

Sailub smiled and reached out, gently cupping Pon's face in his hands. "There's more to our little bundle of joy than we expected."

Pon's eyes widened, confusion crossing his face. "What do you mean?"

Sailub leaned in, planting a tender kiss on Pon's forehead before continuing. "I went for an extra scan today, and the doctor found something surprising. We're not just having one baby... we're having twins."

Pon blinked, his mouth opening and closing as he processed the information. "Tw... twins?" he whispered, his voice filled with awe. "We're having two babies?"

"Two babies.." Sailub confirmed, his smile widening. "Pon. I can't believe it either."

Pon sat there, staring out over the water, his mind racing. Two babies. He hadn't expected that, not in the slightest. But the more he thought about it.

The more his heart swelled. They weren't just going to be parents they were going to be parents twice over.

"We're going to have a big family," Pon murmured, his hand instinctively moving to his belly. "Two little ones to take care of."

Sailub chuckled, wrapping his arms around Pon, pulling him into a gentle embrace. "It's going to be amazing, Pon.

We're going to give them everything they could ever want. And we'll do it together, just like we've done with everything else."

Pon smiled up at him, the weight of the news settling in. "This is crazy. I never thought my life could change like this."

Sailub's eyes softened with love as he kissed the top of Pon's head. "You're going to be the best mom, Pon. I just know it."

They stayed by the lake a little longer, watching the sun set over the horizon, their hearts full of anticipation for what was to come. The world was changing, and they were ready for the new chapter.
