It was a typical morning in the house that Sailub had so thoughtfully made their home. The sun had just begun to rise, casting a warm golden light through the large windows that overlooked the sprawling garden.

The air felt fresh and crisp, a gentle reminder that autumn was in full swing. Inside, the home was quiet, save for the occasional sound of the birds chirping outside and the soft clinking of dishes in the kitchen.

Pon, still in his pajamas, was curled up on the couch in the living room. His belly, now more pronounced, was supported by pillows around him as he leaned back against the cushions, absentmindedly flipping through a magazine.

The past few months had been a whirlwind of changes, but today, there was a calm in the air. The pregnancy had been hard on him at times, but he was learning to embrace the changes, even as his body continued to grow. Today, though, he felt at ease relaxed, and for the moment, just happy.

Sailub, on the other hand, had already risen earlier than Pon. As always, he had a busy schedule ahead of him meetings, calls, and other commitments. But today, he had decided to start the morning slow.

He had no intention of rushing through the day, not with Pon feeling the way he did. The last thing he wanted was to leave Pon feeling neglected or overwhelmed.

Sailub entered the living room, a warm cup of tea in hand. He paused for a moment to take in the sight of Pon, his soft features relaxed, his belly rising and falling with each breath. He couldn't help but smile.

Seeing Pon like this, so serene, made his heart swell with love.

"Morning, baby," Sailub murmured as he walked over, sitting beside Pon on the couch. He placed the tea gently on the coffee table before turning to face Pon. "How’re you feeling today?"

Pon looked up at him and smiled softly, his eyes twinkling despite the exhaustion that still lingered in his features. "Better today," Pon said with a small nod. "The nausea is gone, for now, at least."

Sailub reached over, gently placing a hand on Pon's belly. He hadn't gotten used to it yet the idea that inside Pon, there were two little lives growing.

The weight of it, the responsibility, filled him with both awe and a sense of protectiveness.

"I'm glad to hear that. But if you need anything, you just say the word," Sailub added, his voice soft, his expression sincere. "I’m here."

Pon chuckled lightly, reaching out to touch Sailub's hand. "I know, Sai. You’ve been taking care of me so much lately, I feel a little spoiled."

Sailub shrugged, not at all apologetic. "You deserve it. You’re carrying our future. I’ll spoil you as much as I can."

Pon’s eyes softened at the comment. It wasn’t just the baby that made Sailub care for him so deeply it was everything about Pon. His kindness, his loyalty, and his ability to love without limits.

Pon had a way of making Sailub feel complete, even when things in their world were busy or chaotic.

"I’m serious, though," Sailub continued, leaning in slightly. "Do you need anything right now? Maybe breakfast in bed? Or would you rather I cook something for you here? I could use a break from the office food anyway."

Pon thought about it for a moment before shaking his head. "Actually, I’m okay with some fruit. I’m not super hungry today, but if you could make me a smoothie, that would be great."

"Done," Sailub said, standing up and walking to the kitchen. "A smoothie coming right up. Anything special you want in it?"

Pon thought for a moment, then smiled mischievously. "How about something sweet? With chocolate and strawberries?"
