The sun was high in the sky as Benimaru, Guy, and Albis approached the towering peaks of the Tengu tribe's mountain territory. The purpose of their journey was simple: to ensure the safety of the area before Tempest initiated a massive construction project. They planned to carve a tunnel through the mountain, but first, Rimuru had tasked them with confirming no residents would be disturbed.

The Tengu guards at the base of the mountain initially greeted them with caution, their imposing wings and lupine features marking them as a unique and powerful race. However, once Benimaru explained their intent, they were escorted to the ruling family's residence at the mountain's peak.

Upon entering, they were greeted by Momiji, the daughter of the tribe's leader. She introduced herself with a mix of pride and curiosity, her golden eyes lingering on Benimaru just a little too long. "Our leader will meet you shortly," she said, bowing politely before disappearing into the inner chambers.

Moments later, her mother, the Tengu ruler Kaede, entered with regal grace. Her piercing gaze swept over the group, lingering briefly on Benimaru. After exchanging pleasantries and confirming Tempest's plans, Kaede broached an unexpected topic.

"I have a personal request," Kaede began, her tone calm but deliberate. "My daughter, Momiji, is of age to marry, and I have been searching for a suitable match. You, Benimaru of Tempest, possess both strength and honor. I believe you would make an excellent husband for her."

Benimaru choked on his words, his face turning crimson. "I—pardon?"

Kaede's serene smile didn't waver. "You heard me. What do you say?"

Guy, standing off to the side, let out a low whistle, clearly amused by the unfolding drama.

"I—uh—I think this is a matter I'd need to discuss with my ruler first," Benimaru stammered, glancing desperately at Albis for support.

Kaede nodded graciously. "Of course. However, my daughter has already taken a liking to you, so I trust you will give this matter serious thought."

Before Benimaru could respond, Momiji burst into the room, clearly having overheard the conversation. "Mother! You can't just decide something like that!"

Kaede raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Do you not like him?"

Momiji's face turned bright red. "I didn't say that!"

Albis chuckled, stepping forward. "Well, this is certainly interesting, but shouldn't Benimaru have a say in this too?"

"Stay out of this," Momiji snapped, her golden eyes narrowing.

The tension escalated quickly, with Albis and Momiji exchanging heated words. It wasn't long before Momiji challenged Albis to a fight.

"Enough!" Benimaru roared, stepping between them. "This is ridiculous! I'll give my answer after consulting Rimuru-sama, but for now, there will be no fighting."

Momiji huffed but backed down, while Albis simply smirked. The group departed soon after, leaving the Tengu tribe with promises of an alliance in the near future.

Back in the present, Rimuru sat at her desk, tapping her fingers impatiently as Benimaru recounted the events in the mountains. Guy, as usual, added unhelpful commentary, clearly enjoying the chaos.

"And that's when I said I'd talk to you first," Benimaru finished, looking more than a little exasperated.

Rimuru sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "So, let me get this straight. You've somehow gotten yourself into a marriage proposal... again?"

"It's not my fault!" Benimaru protested.

Before Rimuru could respond, the door opened, and Momiji stepped in. She looked nervous but determined, holding a single letter in her hands. "Rimuru-sama, my mother asked me to deliver this to you," she said, bowing deeply.
