"Did you guys see the new math teacher." Tilly pulls us out of our thoughts. She's pushing the food on her plate around not eating it. Mickey's thought is stuffing her lunch in her mouth.

Mickey nods but I shake my head. "No what does he look like."

"He's really hot." That's odd coming from Mickey because the way she categorise men are in 1. They are useless and deserve to die or 2. They are hot. There's no in between for her.

"Is he or is he just your version of hot." She thought one to many guys are hot who actually look like they have been stepped on.

"No she's not lying he is hot." That's a surprise that they both agreed on something.

"Woah he must be really good looking if you're calling someone other than Oscar hot."

"I call people who aren't Oscar hot."

"Do not!!" She sighs. "Ever since you met my brother it's Oscar this, Oscar that." Mickey hates it when Tilly talks about him. It would too, image your best friend having the hots for your brother.

"Who's calling me hot." Oscar ask overhearing our conversation.

Mickey rolls her eyes. "Take a wild guess."

Oscar turns his eyes to Tilly and Tilly looks away from him.

"Are you still mad about Orla." Oscar scoffs at her. I wonder who Orla is but she doesn't seem to be liked by Tilly so I kinda can't like her now anyways. It's a friend's thing.

"You kissed her in front of me you whore." Tilly seems pissed and Mickey just laughs at both of them.

"Stop calling me a whore." I wonder how many times that's happened.

"Stop acting like one then." Tilly rolls her eyes at him and walks away. He turns around, looking at her and then walk after her.

"Trouble in paradise if you know what I mean." Aiden tells us.

"What are doing here Collins." Mickey pissed at him. She only ever use people last names when she's really mad. So Tilly and Oscar are mad at each other and so is Mickey and Aiden. Great.

"I have graced you with my presence because I need to talk to Noah." How he knows that nickname no one knows. One of the girls probably him. I swear everyday he like a new one of them. Yesterday it was Tilly, today it's probably Mickey.

"Well then I'll leave you two to talk." Mickey scoffs and walks away.

"Don't hate me but Tadgh asked me to talk to you." Of course he did. Since I left last night I haven't stop thinking about it. About what he said, about his childhood.

He understands. He knows what it's like to be scared every time he goes home. But I can't make myself tell him.

"What did he want?" My voice sounds more calm then I feel. I like it that Tadgh been thinking of me.

"He just wants to help you Nora. It's killing him to know but not be able to help."

"Tell him I don't need help, that nothing is going on." I just need them to understand that. To believe my lie. I don't want any of them getting hurt.

"He told me you would say that." Tadgh knows me well, too well.

"He just wants me to give this to you." He slips me a piece of paper. "It has his number written again and Joey in case you ever need it."

I slide the paper across the table and put it in my pocket. I start packing up my uneaten lunch. "Tell him thank you" I pause. "And that if I ever do need it I will call him."

He smiles at me. "Thanks Noah. We just all want you to be safe." I smile back at him. He leaves, something about finding a girl.

I stare at my phone. I pick it up and open the contacts app. I put both their numbers in, just in case I ever need it. Not that I will. I'm not going to text him. I won't. I care about him and I want him to be safe. He doesn't need to be happy with me, he just needs to be safe.
