10. Moving

Paiges Pov:

After the dream. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't sleep for a few hours. I came to realize from that dream. That I want to live. I can't leave my hubby's. I'll live for them. They love me, and I love them so very much. I cherish the short time I've had with them already. That dream was so real. It felt real. I tell my hubby's about my dream. They reassure me I'm okay. So I help a bit with packing.

Curtis Pov:

I curiously think about this temple. It seems familiar. I think one in my lineage has seen this temple. Should I tell her? I'm not even sure it's the same place.
Hmm.. I can't lie to her. She's told us so much.

"I think one in my lineage has seen a temple like the one in your dream. I'm just not sure it's the same one. This one is very far south. It lays in a huge desert. It's quite dangerous." Paige looks at me wide-eyed.

"Was it um.. a gold color?" She asks me while playing with her fingers.

"It is." I tell her.

"Maybe later we can see it when I mean when we're settled." She tells us hopeful.

"Yes, that is possible." I nod.
Paige continues to help Harvey. I continue to gather the heavy stuff.
Winston is helping me.

Paiges Pov:

I'm so tired finally I can sleep. I lay on the fur bed cuddling my hubby's. Winston is in his tiger form beside me.
I grin thanking the beast God again. And drift off to sleep.
I wake up on the same temple stairs. What the hell?..
I look around and see the blue haired man on his knee just looking at me.
I sit up, looking at him.

"Who are you? Do you know where I am?" I ask. He can't hear me again.

"Are you really here?" He asks. I shake my head no. I don't know what this is.
His sky blue eyes peer into mine. I look around at the top of the steps it has a few animal statues. I point at it.

"Paige, dont you remember? It's really you but I can't find you. Where are you?" He asks me. Now I'm super confused. What's happening?
I cup my hands like two mountains. I guess I'll see if this is just a dream.
He looks at me confused.

"I'm in Beast City.." I scream hopefully he hears me. I doubt it the way he's looking at me. So I just point north.
He looks to where I point, and the ground starts to give away again. He reaches for me, but like last time, his hands go through my ethereal ass.

I wake to being nudged awake. I grin at my hubby's.

"Morning." I say groggily. I sit up, and Curtis picks me up knowing my morning routine. I giggle. I go do my business in a bush far from anyone. Wash my hands, brush my teeth too.

"Curtis, that thing for my hair, can you make it for me?" I give him a big smile.
Curtis laughs.

"Draw it, I'll make it."
So I do I draw it on the ground.

"It's made from wood usually." While he starts making it, I wash up while his tail is around me in the river. By the time I get out, I have a small comb.

"Curtis, thank you. I love it! Perfect! Now I can brush my hair! Yay!" I get dressed in my halter top and skirt made from Curtis shedding. I put the sandals on and tied them. Then Curtis puts a white fur short cloak on me it's warm. I brush my hair, and Curtis helps me style it.

"I wish I had a red stoned hair pin it would be cute." I mumbled

"What does it look like?"

"Well, it's a stick, but the end is a carved flower." I explain. He nods. Curtis goes into the river. After a minute or so, he comes out with a red round river rock. I giggle.

"Curtis, you're so perfect. You didn't have to do that right away."

"But I can it's easy. My nails are very sharp. It won't take me very long." I nod.
I sit on Curtis's coils and take my side braid and it it in a bun. I watch Curtis easily carve a flower I've never seen before, but it's beautiful. The stone looks like a red agate. How amazing. When he's done, he hands it to me. I give him the biggest hug and kiss.

"This is so special. Thank you, it's beautiful. What kind of flower is it?" I ask him.

"It's not a flower I've seen. I just made it up. So I'll say it's a Paige flower." My eyes get teary.

"I love you so much, Curtis."

"I love you too, my little light."
I put it in my hair to pin the bun. And we walk back. Harvey and Winston are waiting with food. I kiss Harvey and kiss Winston's cheek. We all eat scrambled eggs with boar meat. I start laughing.

"It's bacon and eggs. it's so good!" I giggle

"Do you want more, Paige?" Harvey asks me.

"I'm getting full, but if you save some boar, I'll eat it for lunch." Harvey blushes.

"Of course." He nods

"Winston, are you liking the food? Harvey's amazing at cooking."

"It's made very well. I like the medicine in it." I smile and nod. It's is. It's something I hardly ever got to eat back in that world.
I hug Harvey and hold onto him.

"We leave right after this if you're ready, Paige." Winston tells us.
I decided I wanted to tease Winston. So I crawl to him.

"I'm read,  Winston." I whisper in his ear. I pull away and examine his blushing face. Heh,  oh yeah.

"We can be read,  too." I feel Harvey lick my ear. I look back at my handsome hubby's. Well I'm fucked..

Harvey's Pov:

~3 hours later~

I watch as Paige sits on Winstons back glaring at me and Curtis with her arms crossed. I look at Curtis who looks a bit guilty.

"Paige... I'm sorry I just couldn't help it." I cower to her. I feel so bad. Me and Curtis got lost in ourselves.
We hear a giggle.

"I'm not really mad well.. I am a bit but not bad. Poor Winston had to hear us. It's embarrassing." She says and goes back to her stern look. Puffed cheeks glaring she really cute when angry. I can't help but stifle a laugh by coughing.

We shift and head on our journey.
