Harvey helped me up, and he carried me to the river. On the way, he gathered some prickly fruit. When we get to the river, I look around.

We abruptly stop and infront of us is a red giant snake. Oh my god! Please be Curtis. I'm not were dead. This snake is huge.

He shifts to a half man his lower half remaining as a snake. I examine him. His hair is long straight and crimson red. His features are angular. He has sharp eyes. His irises are crimson red as well and he's built athletic and toned.

"Female did he hurt you?" The snake beastman hissed. Uhh... what the fuck?.

"N..no.. I've had these. Harvey never hurt me." I shyly tell him.

"Is this him?" Harvey asked barely audible.

"I think so." I tell him.
"Who.. who are you? I'm Paige and he's my mate Harvey."

"I'm Curtis. You're not afraid of me?" He asks while reaching out almost touching my hair. Harvey growls.

"LOOK. My mate is hurt I'm not standing around talking to you. I need to get her medicine." Harvey slightly raises his voice to Curtis.
Curtis reached into his pouch and shoves something into my mouth. My anxiety starts up bad I choke but swallow whatever it was. And I start to have trouble breathing. Everything goes dark.

~A Few Hours Later~

I wake up in our fur bed. Looking around I see Harvey running his fingers through my hair. I grin at him.

"Are you feeling better Paige?"
I nod. Harvey hands me a small bowl of water and I chug it down. My throat feels dry.

"What happened?" I ask him.

"Well he gave you an emrald and I think his sudden movement scared you. He's here. If you don't want to see him I cou..." I cut Harvey's words off.

"No.. it's okay it's him. He's the one I told you about. Is he mad at me?" I ask unsure.

"No he's not. He feels bad for scaring you."

I move the fur thats on top of me, and I'm in a different fur outfit. It's very pretty. It's a deep dark red fur halter top and a white fur skirt. I smile at Harvey.
I see my legs and there's no scaring or bruises. No cuts nothing. I look up at Harvey shocked.

"Your beautiful see?" Harvey helps me up and we walk out of the room.
