8. meeting

Paiges Pov:

We all walk back home. Overly packed with foods, herbs, and spices. My hubby's are the sweetest. They did this to cheer me up. I give their hands a squeeze. I love them so much. Almost home! And... crap.. there they are the most annoying couple.

"Harvey, how can you turn my female away from healing her?! My female is in pain because of your selfishness! Your ugly female started this!" Parker yells at us. Oooo... I'm so mad at this fucking prick!

"You did that to your female as rude as you are you still expect help from the ones you insult? Learn some manners especially in my home! And if you can't handle who my mates are then you can receive help elsewhere!" I yell back while my body is trembling. I close my fist to stop myself from falling apart.

"I wasn't talking to you ugly female go run to the ferals where you belong!" Parker yells at me. And all I see is a streak of red. It happens so fast I didn't catch what happened. Curtis has Parker by the throat lifted into the air by his tail.

"You will not talk to my female like that cub! You don't even deserve a female. Infact you act like some ferals I know. If you talk to my mate like this again I'll destroy you where even your mother beast won't recognize you. It's a promise." He hisses out. Then dropes Parker on his ass picks me up.

"Parker!" I hear Bai cry out. She glares at me.
"He didn't do anything to you! Why did you hurt him?"

We see Parker turn into a leopard. He growls at us and tries to pounce on me and Curtis. I shreik and curl myself into Curtis as much as I can.
Luckily Curtis whips him back with his tail. A white Tiger jumps infront of me and Curtis growling.
By now there's a whole bunch of beastmen watching. A few of them try to step in. Curtis hisses at all of them. And Harvey is already in his leopard form growling. Not good not good..
I start to panic.

"What is going on!" We hear a loud booming voice of a man. Everyone moves away to let this man in. He's tall and old he's definitely a leopard.

"I'm here he won't hurt you." Curtis reassures me. Rubbing the back of my head. I hold Curtis for dear life.

"What happened?" The old leopard man booms out.
By now the white tiger shifts back into a man. I only see his back side. So I look away. While he puts his clothes on which is a hide skirt.

"This leopard started yelling at them. The female told him to learn to be nice. And the leopard Parker didn't like it, so he yelled more at the female. So her snake mate threatened Parker to not speak to his female that way. So Parker pounced at them, almost hurting the female." The white tiger male told the old man.

"That's not... no Parker was protecting me. We went to get help from the doctor this morning, and they refused to help us." Bai tells him all teary-eyed, but no tears fall. when the tribe leader isn't looking, she glares at me. Oh, she's faking.. I gasp still having issues. I wish I could be calm..
I muster my courage.

"We refused you cause Parker sat there insulting me and my mates. He almost broke our door down." I sniffle out, wiping my tears that won't stop falling. Everyone looks over at me. I start panicking. Oh my god..

"Breath Paige.. look at me, okay? You're okay. we're here." Harvey tells me I gasp for air looking at Harvey. I nod, and he hugs me.

"I can't.. I can't.. breath.." I gasp out. Common Paige common I'm okay.. I'm okay. I'm not.. I can't. I'm scared.
And everything goes dark.

Harvey's Pov:

Curtis hands Paige to me.

"Is your female alright?" The tribe leader asks me.

"She's not alright. Tell Parker to stay away from my mate. She can't deal with the stress." I tell him.
I take Paige into the hut and check on her.

Curtis Pov:

"Your mate... she will be fine, right?" The tiger asks me.

"She will if this cub stays away from her. Both of you stay away from us." I hiss out. I would love to beat the shit out of that leopard male right now. No kill him. There are no more chances. He will die next time. The old male nods to me, and I start to go to the hut after I pick up the sacks of things.
The white tiger male follows me. I turn around.

"What?" I hiss out.

"I was just looking for the healers hut, and since you are going there, I'll just go too. Don't worry, I just need some medicine for a female for her pregnancy." He tells me. I nod and head home. I go in and see Harvey getting something made for Paige.

"The tiger male is outside." I tell Harvey and I go into the room. I see Paige she's awake, but she looks tired. So I go over and rub her head.

"I love you, Paige." I whisper to her, and she smiles at me, hugging me.

"I love you too, Curtis. Thank you for always protecting me." She cuddles closer to me, and I kiss her hair. I will always protect you. I nuzzle up to her.

Harvey's Pov:

"What can I help you with?" The male is standing at the door.

"I need a medicine that can help with throwing up. For a pregnant female." I look at him and nod. I start grabbing medicines to mix.

"Thank you for helping us." I tell him great fully.

"Is she okay?" He asks.

"She has calmed down a bit, luckily." I tell him while I start smashing the medicine. I look up, and he looks worried. Hmm.. does he like my mate?

"Good.." he nods.

"Whats your name?" Curious.

"I'm Winston. I'm doing the salt trade for the beast City." Oh, that makes sense.

Paige Pov:

I hear them talking out there, and then I hear the name Winston. No way... I get up. Look at Curtis, who gives me a confused look.

"That's the male that I was talking about." I whisper.
Curtis nods now. He understands. He scoops me up and walks me out of the bedroom. Ah.. I probably look like shit.
Harvey looks at me smiling. I grin at him. I peek at Winston. Damn he is fine what the fuck I don't know what's  wrong with these females eyes here. He's Hott! Winston observes me.

"Are you better female?" He asks in his deep voice. Damn his voice is lower than Curtis. But Curtis voice is more melodic. Winston's voice is deep and sexy. Harvey has a very beautiful low voice not low like their's but I swear Harvey can calm anyone just by his voice. I stop myself from day dreaming.

"I'm okay.. thank you." I tell him nicely.

"I'm glad to hear." He nods at me looking away. Oh he doesn't like me..

"So Winston how long are you staying here by camel hump valley?" Curtis asks.

"Well, one of the females we saved is pregnant. She's been sick, so I'm not sure we will probably leave early in the morning." He tells us. Curtis nudges Harvey. Harvey now curiously tries to understand.

"I can check her if you need." Harvey asks.

"That would work if you can."

"Sure, I'll get my pouch." Harvey says. Curtis put me down and follows Harvey.
I awkwardly stand looking at my feet. I'm such a coward.
Then they both come back. Harvey grins at me, and Curtis picks me up.

"Sorry, I had to get something because while Harvey does that, we can pick some fruit." Curtis kisses me deeply. He lightly licks down my neck, breathing heavily. Damn now I'm aroused..

"Ha.." Winston's face gets a bit flush. Oh.. I see. Curtis moves me to look at him again, and he kisses me once again. He only stops when I'm almost out of breath. While he rubs my leg. He's trying to tease Winston with my scent. This sneaky snake hubby.
