(LILA'S POV)

Quinn stirred, his eyes gradually opening to the sound of my voice. He was still groggy, disoriented, but there was an undeniable concern in his gaze the moment he saw me.

"Lila," he whispered, his voice heavy with exhaustion. He moved toward me, the concern on his face deepening as he gently cupped my cheek with his hand. His touch sent a warmth through me, something I couldn't quite explain.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice soft but laced with urgency. "Lila, I need you to tell me you're okay."

I nodded quickly, not trusting myself to speak, but my heart was hammering. Quinn's concern wasn't just for my safety, it felt different. More than that. My heart skipped a beat, but there was no time for this. There was no time for feelings, not now.

"I'm fine," I said, forcing myself to sound calm. "But you need to untie me. We have to move quickly before he comes back."

Quinn's eyes softened as he looked at me, his hand still on my face, as if checking that I was real. I could see the flicker of doubt in his expression, but he didn't hesitate. He moved quickly, the urgency of the moment pushing away whatever hesitation he might have had.

As he untied me, I forced myself to focus on the task ahead. We couldn't let Clint get away with what he was doing, not with the patients, not with everything. We had to get the evidence.

Once I was free, Quinn stood back for a moment, and I caught a glimpse of him, his face still softened with concern, but also determination. "We need to get everything," he said. "Screenshots. Files. We can't let him get away with it."

I nodded. We moved toward the computers, gathering everything we could. I was quick, efficient, but I couldn't shake the feeling of his hand on my face, the way he'd cared for me. It lingered in my chest, but I couldn't focus on it. Not yet. There were too many lives at stake.

"We need to stop him before he runs," Quinn muttered, his voice sharp. He was right. We had to make sure Clint couldn't escape before we got to the higher-ups. But we also needed to save the patients, get them out of here, and fast.
