Me and May walked to the back of the stage. Chris was performing and the crowd was going wild. Everyone was enjoying their selves and phones were in the air everywhere.

I looked over the stage and saw August on the other side laughing and smiling with his manager. He looked my way and we were eye to eye. While we were staring at one another, everything went silent and in slow motion like I was on ecstasy or some drug. I felt like maybe God was telling me something. The connection broke when Jersey  tapped shoulder.

"Babygirl you okay?" She said looking concerned.

"Yeah just thinking." I said.

"About what?" She asked.
I didn't want to tell her but she seemed like she wouldn't run her mouth and maybe I could trust her.

"August." I said.

"August?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"Why you thinking of him?" She asked me.

"Oh no reason."  I said.
She started to get a little nosy.

"There is a reason." She said. My phone started to ring.

"Let me get back to you." I said walking to the restroom.
It was Zion.
P:Hello.

Z:Hey Patricia, I called to apologize for accusing you of cheating, I just really don't wanna lose you girl.

P:It's okay , next time come to me for answers.

Z: I will and I'm so sorry. I wish I could make it up to you.

P: apologizing is enough Zion but I'll talk to you later.

Z: okay, I love you.

P:I love you too.

I hung up.
I walk back to Jersey and May. Jersey frowning when she saw me approaching for some reason.
"What's the matter?" I asked. She pointed to the stage. August was all up on some girl, singing. Just like he did when he met me.

I wanted to throw a brick but I had to stay calm because we aren't dating. I also wanted to cry because I felt used.

I walked back to the restroom and cried my eyes out.
