"Tere liye,"

And his answer was like an ice breaker to Arranya's heart.

She felt numb for a few minutes as his words touched her ears.

"What do you mean by that?" Ari stepped towards him with a confused look, mind blank, eyes teary, and heart beating like an explosion is on its way but she controlled it all for that one moment.

Avi's smile tensed a little on realising that he's been away from her for way too long and as he was expecting it to be fine when he comes back, maybe he gotta work extra hard to win her heart now.

He lowered back his arms to his sides taking another step towards her with a small smile still being wavered on his face.

"I came back for you, Ari," he replied, slowly walking towards her that gave him Deja vu of the time when they were in the same situation 4 years ago, walking towards each other at the airport but that time was of separation.

"But you went to New York to take care of your father, forever," Her voice broke as she was feeling numb because her heart already started assuming that he's back to India and now everything would be fine.

But her mind was constantly repelling those thoughts because it was about his father so how could he change that decision for a mere girl? It's not right in any way. If she would have been in his place, she'd always done what he did. She'd also stay back with her family and take care of them.

And by now, both of them were only a few inches apart with swollen eyes.

"Papa is fine now," he stated.

"And he is the one who brought me here," the male doctor added that surprised all of his friends.

"As he started getting better, my own mental health started to deteriorate because I was always feeling uneasy. My heart was always clenched and I felt numb most of the times because... Because not just you, even Samar and Anna's absence felt like it'll eat me alive in there,"

The 23 years old explained, gazing at the other two behind Ari's back with a weak smile as his eyes almost cried those tears that he's been holding on for sometime now.

"Being with my father was the best time in New York, but being away from you, Ari, and you both two, that was the worst time,"

And how his words touched the 3 hearts standing in front of him, he had no idea himself.

"Awww Avi, I never thought you'd actually miss me or Samar because we thought Ari was enough to make you cry alone," Anna exclaimed, jogging past Arranya to go hug her friend who she has missed a lot in these 4 years.

Samar also followed to give his dude the big hug that they both deserved and have been missing in all these years. Their bromance was sent on hold but now it seems like, everything would finally be back to normal soon if Aviral just says it once that he's not going back to New York.

"So you mean that you're finally back to India? Like- to settle down in India itself and be with us forever?" Samar questioned with seriousness floating on his features as they broke the hug.

"Mhmm," but Aviral nodded in Arranya's direction instead, going a few steps back and opening his arms for her yet again for a hug that she earlier declined without any words.

"Ab to aa jaa yrr," a desperate call came out from him that made Ari chuckled at him from the distance.

"4 saal ka intezaar hai, ab nahi ruk paunga," he bent a little with a smile that overflowed his emotions inside.
