"Sister, have you seen Doctor Arranya Awasthi here?" Samar questioned a nurse who pointed towards the labour section.
Thanking the lady, both the boys speedily walked to the labour section that Aviral despised to his core.
"Uh- bro- you go and bring her. I'll stay here," Avi, a face that's been provoked to puke upon hearing the maternity Ward's name made Samar find another weak point of Aviral for his condition.
The lad ahead of Aviral smirked at him with neck half rotated to his side.
"So you hate labour, huh?" A chuckle escaped Samar's mouth. Shooking his head, the boy wandered in front to search for Arranya who instead walked from Aviral's side with the new friend she made earlier in the morning, Aarav.
"Avi?" She called, facing his back who turned at the speed of light but was disappointed to see Aarav with her.
"What are you doing here? Your postings were from next week, right?" She confusedly asked, walking towards him as Aarav followed her.
"Yeah. I came to submit my documents for that only," Avi told with a suppressed smile, that hid his gritting teeth behind his lips upon seeing her with Aarav.
"Oh, when did you come here? You didn't tell me you'd be coming otherwise I'd have given you a tour of the workspace," Arranya added with a one side smile, expressing her minimal disappointment about the situation.
But she let that go when she realised that the boys were looking at each other weirdly.
"Oh right, I didn't introduce you two," the short girl chuckled. Moving to the side of the boys so she could see their side faces, letting them face each other as she exchanged their intros to the other.
"Aarav, he's Aviral. He was an ex student at our college but went to study abroad and he recently came back to do his internship in India," Ari told, her palm indicating to Aviral's side.
Aarav smiled brightly, extending his arm for a handshake as he nodded in understanding.
Avi lightly shook his arm with the male when Arranya introduced Aarav to him.
"And Avi, he's Aarav. I just met him yesterday so I don't know much about him other than his full name and that he's our a year senior," an awkward giggle left her mouth. Aarav joined her in laughing, turning to her side.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure you know everything about me soon, Ms. Awasthi," the boy bent down to her eye level, an authentic smile flickering on his face while his eyes were poured in her brown orbs.
"Sure, Mr. Awasthi," and Ari, astoundingly fo Aviral, replied him back in the similar flirtatious manner that he used for her.
Avi, who could have never been able to overcome from this sweetly, coy voice of Arranya, but only if she had used it for him and not any Aarav. But since she did the opposite, his emotions flipped as well, almost wanting him to cry and punch the wall in agitation, but he hid it all behind that conquered smile.
"Let's go for dinner? You'd like to join us, Aviral?" Aarav questioned with a smile and Avi just nodded in response, the subdued smile still not leaving his features.
The poor boy, Aviral, followed the newly became friends to the canteen of their hospital, forgetting that Samar was still searching for Arranya from last one hour and now he had to search for Aviral too because Aviral's phone was Samar.
