*Phone rings*

Arranya shuffles in her sleep as her phone vibrated.

*Phone ringing continues*

"Arghh," Ari groans in her sleep. "Who is it so early in the morning bro?"

Without opening her eyes, she searches for her phone on the bed when finally she touches a cold surface.

She picks up the phone to see who it was, but her eyes couldn't open as she was deep in her sleep, so she just receives the call without trying to open her eyes anymore.

"Hello?" Ari answers the phone in a raspy voice, when she suddenly hears a panicked known voice.

"Hello? Doctor Arranya? Hello?" A male voice that was trying seek her reply. And that voice eventually helps Arranya to open her eyes a little, as she got up to sit on her bed.

She removes the phone from her ear to check who was the caller, when she saw it's a call from the hospital.

Dang!

"H- hello? Yes sir?" Arranya blinked twice to open her eyes.

"Ma'am, we need you at the hospital. There's an emergency case, and no senior doctor is available at the moment," the receptionist man told in a hurry.

Arranya was now wide awake after hearing the news. Getting off the bed quickly, she wore her slips on and a jacket, her night filled water bottle in her bag, and quickly left for the hospital while talking on the phone in a hurry.

"Any family with her?" Ari questioned running downstairs.

"Yes ma'am, two males. Supposing one is her fiancé, and the other is a common friend I guess," the receptionist replied.

"Okay, I'll be there in 15 minutes," and Ari hung, igniting her scooty in the winter's that took her more time than usual to spark up the vechile.

She kept trying to ignite the engine for almost 5 minutes. Trying different ways by kicking it, retrieving the choke, but nothing worked because of the cold weather.

And hearing all the noise, Aviral, who's sleep schedule is already rotten and weak, he woke up to see who's trying to start the vechile at 3 am in the morning.

Going downstairs, he found Arranya giving kicks to start her two wheeler.

"Ari?" Avi calls out in his hoarse voice, and puffy eyes as he wasn't awake yet out of his slumber.

"What are you doing? Where are you going?" Avi questions perplexed seeing her in so much hurry.

"Get up, I'll check," he asks, holding the handle of her scooty to check why it's not starting with his half asleep state.

"There's an emergency in the hospital, and no senior doctor is available, so I gotta go," Ari informs while fretting.

"To... Mai bhi chalta hu tere saath, akele mat jaa andhera hai, safe nahi hai aise," Avi suggested, trying to ignite her vehicle.

"Nahi nahi, I'll be fi—"

"Maine kaha na, Ari," Avi demanded in a stern voice, chiming in between to shut her up. Arranya gazed at how demanding and worried his eyes were, so giving up, she nodded at his offer, asking him to go wear a jacket till then, and she'll try to start her two wheeler.

"Don't leave without me,"

Aviral requests, running upstairs to take a jacket from his room and locked the gate, when he heard her scooty finally working downstairs.
