"What double date, Anna?" Ari sighed.
Stuffing her fists in the pocket of her white coat, she walked towards the hallway for her morning round, as the rest 3 followed her too.
"We've work, and from tomorrow, you know that our mock tests would start for the PG exam, so we anyways are gonna be busy, so let's focus more on career, okay?"
Ari explained in confidence that quite didn't go well with Anna.
Ananya sadly pouted looking at Ari to convince her bestie for the double date.
"No," but Ari firmly rejected.
Anna still tried, this time, adding whining in her little blackmailing.
"Still no," Ari still denied, folding his arms ahead with a stern face of denial. So Anna added more to her dramaturgy, this time by joining her hands, and making a puppy face to convince Arranya.
Arranya did think this time before rejecting her offer.
"Fine," she sighed at the end, giving up on being stern. "But I won't miss my test, we'll go afterwards," she added her demand that gloomed up Anna once more.
"Kya yrrr, Ari. Paper is from 2 pm to 5 pm, how are we gonna enjoy? Kyuki na to we can go before 2 pm, and after 5 pm there's not much time left to enjoy anyways. That's literally the peak time to enjoy when we have our mock tes—"
"Okay okay fine," but Ari shook her head in defeat when she saw how desperately Anna wanted to go and enjoy this day. "But just this once I'll bunk my paper, never in future, deal?" She questioned, extending her pinky finger to seal their deal.
And Anna smiled, excitedly jumping to lock their promise. "Deal,"
And then, Ari and Aviral spent their entire day today, but not as they wanted to after coming in this relationship. They instead spent the whole day on duty which was utterly tiring.
So after meeting Anna and Samar, and having dinner together like a group as always, the two couples parted their ways to their homes.
"Should I come here or...?" Aviral stopped in mid tracks to question Ari about where should be go, to his own room tonight or tomorrow stay back at hers.
But Arranya was now unsure. Afterall, they're still young, and live in a healthy neighbourhood which is in India. So if someone sees them by chance entering in the same room, we know how the rumours would torment them forever later on.
"Umm..." She hesitated, but then she remembered that she did have one important thing to talk about with him. So, prior to inviting him in, she looks everywhere around to check if someone was watching or not, and then drags him inside in a blink.
"Whoaa— you look in a mood tod—" but before Aviral could complete his flirty line, just one glare from Arranya stopped him right there.
"I wanted to tell you something," she told, unzipping her jacket and removing her muffler while talking.
"Hmm, go on," Avi went to sit on the bed, keeping his backpack aside somewhere as he watched Ari unpack her stuff.
"I'm shifting to a new place, a new apartment which is nearer to our hospital," she told, coming to sit beside him in a lose position as she was exhausted.
Aviral turned around to hold her hands in his so he could warm both of their hands by holding them.
"Mhmm, okay," he nodded in understanding.
"And," she lifted her brows as she had a surprise for him that she didn't know whether he'll like it or not. "And luckily, today I talked to the landlord and he told me that the apartment opposite to mine was also free to be brought,"
