Dan Heng
Dan Heng wasn’t one for grand gestures or motivational speeches, but when it came to helping you study, his presence was grounding. Seated across the table, wearing sleek, silver-rimmed glasses that framed his sharp eyes, he scanned your study materials with quiet focus. His calm demeanor was infectious, keeping you from panicking over the seemingly insurmountable pile of notes.
"Take a breath," he said softly, noticing the way your hand trembled as you tried to solve a difficult equation. "Let's break this into smaller steps."
He patiently guided you through the problem, his voice steady and reassuring. He never gave you the answer outright, always encouraging you to think critically. Occasionally, he’d add a small smile or a soft “You’re doing well.” which made your heart flutter.
When you started to get tired, Dan Heng slipped away, returning with a tray of snacks and tea. The small details, like the perfectly brewed tea and neatly cut fruit slices, reflected how much he cared. "You need to stay hydrated." he said, setting the tray down with gentle precision.
After the exam, you found Dan Heng waiting for you by the door, his usual stoicism softened by the faintest hint of a smile. "How was it?" he asked, taking your bag from you.
When you expressed your relief, his lips quirked upward. "You worked hard. You deserve to feel proud." As you walked back to the Express, he let his hand brush against yours, and when no one was looking, he gave your fingers a light squeeze, his subtle way of showing affection.
Aventurine
Aventurine lounged in the chair beside you, adjusting his round-rimmed glasses with a flourish. "Alright, darling," he said, his eyes glinting with mischief, "let’s turn this study session into a winning strategy."
He made everything feel like a game, complete with mini-rewards for getting questions right. “Answer this one, and you’ll get a kiss.” he teased, his grin playful but affectionate. When you stumbled on a tricky concept, his demeanor shifted, becoming surprisingly focused and thoughtful. He leaned in close, his voice low and soothing as he explained, turning your notes into a story that made everything easier to remember.
"See? You’re a natural!" he said, brushing a strand of hair from your face after you solved a problem on your own. He wasn’t above pampering you, either—he’d disappear into the kitchen and come back with snacks that looked like they belonged in a fancy café: tiny sandwiches, chocolates, and colorful drinks.
On exam day, Aventurine sent you off with an encouraging wink and a whispered “Knock 'em dead, love.” When you returned, drained but satisfied, he greeted you with open arms. “There’s my star pupil!” he said, spinning you around in celebration.
That evening, he drew you into his lap, gently massaging your shoulders. “Next time, let’s plan a proper celebration. You deserve it.” he murmured, pressing a kiss to your temple.
Dr. Veritas Ratio
Ratio adjusted his golden-framed (granny looking ahh) glasses, the light catching on their lenses as he reviewed your study materials. "This is poorly organized," he said bluntly, though there was no malice in his tone. "We’ll restructure this first."
He created a meticulous study plan for you, complete with color-coded notes and scheduled breaks. Whenever you struggled with a concept, he patiently walked you through it, using analogies and diagrams that made even the most complicated topics feel approachable. His intellect was intimidating, but his care for you was evident in the way he explained things at your pace.
When you grew frustrated, he set down his pen and reached for your hand. "Take a moment," he said, his eyes softening. "You’re capable. Let’s not rush this."
During breaks, Ratio would prepare light snacks, carefully balancing nutrition and taste. He always made sure you were comfortable, adjusting the lighting or fetching a blanket if the room got too cold. “Your focus will improve with proper rest.” he reminded you, his voice firm but kind.
After your exam, Ratio waited for you at home, standing by the door with his arms crossed. “You’re back,” he said, his expression unreadable at first. But as you recounted the exam, his lips curved into a small, approving smile.
“Well done,” he said, brushing a hand over your hair. That evening, he surprised you by drawing you into a rare embrace, holding you close as he murmured, “I’m proud of you. You’ve earned this moment.”
