Acheron
The silence of the cosmos stretches endlessly, an infinite expanse that even Acheron, in her boundless isolation, has grown familiar with. Yet, when you, the Emanator of Destruction, entered her world, something in her shifted. Perhaps it was your power, raw and untamed, a force that reverberated through her very being. She had seen many wielders of power before, but your connection to the Aeon of Destruction, Nanook, felt different. It was a magnetism she could not ignore.
You were no mere mortal. You were an extension of the Aeon’s will, an embodiment of entropy and obliteration. Acheron, a being bound by a cursed blade, knew all too well the heavy price of power, the endless burden it placed on the soul. She could feel the dark, destructive impulse that churned within you, the same impulse she had once carried with her in the fall of Izumo. Your power was like a mirror to hers, only magnified by the destructive force that Nanook had imbued in you.
She watched you from afar at first, intrigued by your presence. You were not like the others—arrogant and loud in their power. Instead, there was a quiet, almost stoic quality to you, a calm that masked the storm within. But as days passed, she began to see the subtle flicker of something more dangerous behind your eyes. You were drawn to her, and in the darkness of your bond to the Aeon, your obsession grew.
She didn't know what to make of it at first, how to respond to the subtle way you began to gravitate toward her. When you spoke, it was never in words of reverence, but in something darker—darker than what even she could comprehend. You saw her as a kindred spirit, an extension of your path of destruction, one that you wanted to claim, bind, and break apart.
"Destruction does not wait, Acheron," you whispered to her one night under the stars, your voice smooth, laced with an eerie calm that set her on edge. "We were both forged from the same fire. The Aeon’s will flows through us both. We are meant to tear everything down together, don’t you see? Together, we will make the cosmos bend to our will."
Her heart, frozen by the weight of countless lifetimes, tightened at your words. She felt the pull—the temptation to join you, to let herself fall into that abyss, to be consumed by the power of destruction. But she held back. She always held back. There was a darkness in you that she feared, a possessiveness that hinted at a future where there was no escape for her. You wanted more than just her power; you wanted her to be an extension of the destruction that defined you.
As the days wore on, you became bolder, more insistent. Your presence in her world, at first subtle, now weighed heavily on her every step. There were moments when she felt the invisible chains wrapping tighter around her, your grip on her heart and mind growing stronger, suffocating. She knew the price of power, but your obsession was something she had not anticipated. You wanted her, not as an ally, but as your vessel—a tool for your will to carry out the command of the Aeon of Destruction.
One evening, as Acheron stood alone, her sword still sheathed, you appeared before her. There was no more pretense now—your eyes burned with a ferocity that matched the very power you wielded.
"Acheron," you said, your voice low, demanding. "Stop running. You know you want this. You know you want me. To stand by my side... as one. We will bring destruction to the universe, together. You don’t need to hold back anymore."
Her breath caught in her throat, her eyes locking with your own. You were too far gone now, consumed by the path of destruction, and Acheron could see the madness beginning to bloom within you, like a flower of entropy.
"You don’t understand," she whispered, though there was a hesitation in her voice. "The destruction you seek will consume everything. It will consume us both."
But your response was nothing more than a grin, wild and hungry, as you reached for her.
Feixiao
Feixiao had always prided herself on her strength, on her control. She was known as the Vanquishing General for a reason: she could crush any foe, bend any battlefield to her will. But when you, the Emanator of Destruction, appeared in her life, that control began to slip away.
You were powerful, yes. There was no denying that. But it was the way you wielded your power that unsettled her—the way your destructive impulses mirrored the rage that brewed within her, the curse of the Moon Rage that had always threatened to overtake her. But what unnerved her most was how you seemed to revel in that darkness. You did not fight it as she did; you embraced it, let it consume you in ways she could never allow herself to.
At first, you were a strange presence at the edges of her battles—quiet, stoic, but always there, watching her, studying her. Feixiao could feel the power within you, raw and untamed, and it called to the darker side of her own soul. You understood her in ways no one else ever could. The Moon Rage that burned inside her, threatening to tear her apart, seemed to flare in response to the destructive power you wielded.
It was an inevitable collision. The two of you were like twin forces, each of you a storm in your own right. Yet, despite the cold, calculating nature that Feixiao presented to the world, there was something inside her that was beginning to break. Your presence, your obsession with her, the way you saw her as the one person who could match your rage—it all began to erode the walls she had carefully built around herself.
"You feel it too, don't you?" you asked one night, your voice soft but filled with a disturbing certainty. "The power we share. The destruction inside of us. We are the same, Feixiao. You just need to let go... Let go of your control. Let go of the facade. You know what you really want."
Her breath hitched as you stepped closer, your hand brushing against hers. The flicker of your power, dark and violent, sent a shiver down her spine. She could feel the tug, the pull of your presence—a force that threatened to unravel everything she had worked for.
"No," she whispered, pulling away, her fists clenched. "I am not like you. I will not be consumed by this madness. I will control it, always."
But the obsession in your eyes told a different story. You were not here to let her control her rage. You were here to push her, to make her cross the line she had so carefully drawn between herself and the destruction that lurked inside.
"You will be mine, Feixiao," you murmured, your tone low and dangerous. "The Moon Rage will never truly leave you. You will become what I am... and together, we will burn this universe to the ground."
And as you spoke, Feixiao realized the truth: you would never stop. Your obsession with her, with the power you both shared, would consume her. She was already losing herself to you.
