Christmas and it's Revelations Part 1

No one's PoV
Well it's almost nearing Christmas . I hosted a Thanksgiving at home where Sirius and Alexis sneaked Harry out of the castle to the home, where Remus was waiting .

Alexis was in the kitchen working on the food, while in the family room, Aaron decides to surprise his girlfriend but gets a little surprise himself.

He enters calling out to his girlfriend - "Babe, I'm home", only to see his girlfriend's godfather and brother .

"Hey there, didn't know we were gonna have guests . "

Sirius lights up like a kid at Christmas.

"You must be the boy she kept hidden away from me . I didn't think we would meet like this", Sirius exclaims in excitement and with a little twinkle in his eyes like he is going to enjoy what's coming .

Aaron says, " Didn't expect to meet you this soon as well, Sirius and hey Harry. Heard a lot about you . She got to sneak you out of the castle, huh. Must be thrilling ."

Harry excited as well nods shyly.

Sirius takes this opportunity to harass him,
" So you know about us , but we don't know anything about you, who are you and what are your intentions towards my god daughter."

Aaron responds confidently, "Nothing but the sincere intentions. I am working very hard so some day soon I can make her my queen and show her that she is a true queen. "

Alexis comes in the room , seeing Aaron handling Sirius pretty well, she couldn't be any prouder.
" He has started harassing you already. Sirius let him breathe a little. And babe , behind me is Remus . "

Remus nods happily and shakes his hand, while Sirius looking like upto no good comes upto Aaron and suddenly brings him in a hug.

Alexis is happy with this reaction and thinks she really is blessed.

Soon they sit down for the Thanksgiving dinner .
Alexis explains the tradition she followed while in the States.

And then they dig in.

It's an amazing dinner. Aaron doesn't leave Harry out knowing he might feel a bit out of place as he doesn't know the truth.

He talks to him about school life , hobbies and other activities they can plan together. Harry is happy thinking he finally belongs.

Sirius also feels at ease that his God daughter has found someone with a heart of gold and wishes in his heart that Aly always get all the happiness in the world.

Remus is also engaged in the conversation with Aaron and is surprised how easy it is to talk to him. He feels genuinely happy for his God child as well.

Harry loves every moment of this and doesn't want to return to the castle where once again there is no peace and quiet only fear of the future.

Harry's PoV
I feel at home here . I wish this evening never ends. Maybe I should ask if I can stay here for the day. Hogwarts has been my home but I do want some family love which I see here . Sirius, Remus, Alexis and even Aaron. He is like the brother I would have liked growing up with. 

Dinner ends and Alexis brings out the dessert . Chocolate truffle cake and that too homemade. I don't even remember the last time I had cake.

Alexis feels like home. I wish she would adopt me . But why me . I have so many problems , starting with Voldemort and his followers after me . No I can't risk her life for me and my selfishness.
No I have to stay away from her.

Maybe after this I'll ask her to drop me off . I should stay away. I'm bad luck. My parents died. Cedric died . No one else. Especially her.

I come out of my musings to hear her say, " Chill, we can go tomorrow. No one will miss him. "
I wanted to protest but I also wanted to stay. Guess heart wins.
