Jungkook stared at Jin as the older man busied himself in making brunch for the little gang , He was trying enough to make his gesture look like he was all okay and fine ,But jungkook knew something was really off ... He leaned against the kitchen counter , eyes fixed on Jin's face as he tried to read his brother's face ..
Jungkook : What are you hiding hyung ? ( Jungkook asked in a low and careful voice not wanting to startle Jin even though he knows That Jin was aware of his presence and was expecting the question already )
Jungkook : You know you can tell me anything ..I know you said Namjoon hyung dont want to meet anyone and want some alone time But I also know that There is something more to it ...Won't you even tell me ? You said you trust me the most ... ( Jungkook mumbled the last line but made sure Jin heard him ..If not in a straight way , he would get Jin to talk to him in other ones ..And emotional black mailing always works )
Jin sighed as he heard Jungkook , He pretended to whisk the better for pancakes for a few seconds then automatically dropped the whisk and finally turned toward Jungkook .
Jin : And I mean that ( Jin warns softly as he rinsed his hands with water and held jungkook's wrist after wiping his hands with a whip ...He took him to the living room and when They both were settled down on the couch , He finally let jungkook's hand drop to his lap before placing his hand softly on youngers )
Jungkook : Then why wouldn't you tell what happens In hospital ? Why Joon hyung sent you back home and want to be alone ? Did you talk to him ? ( Jungkook asked patiently , his eyes flickering to pillar as if he felt someone there but he immediately looked back toward Jin when he got to know who was overhearing them )
Jin : Yeah I did ( Jin almost whispered , his eyes flicking to his lap where he held jungkook's hand ) I shout at him ..I Tell him how disappointed I am on him for choosing the mafia world and risking jimin's life ...I didn't even ask him if he was in pain ,if he was feeling ok ...I just lashed my anger at him and stormed out of the room , I didn't go back in for the whole two hours and he was there , Inside .... Alone , probably wondering why no one was there for him when he was in the hospital bed in a critical situation .( Jin's voice cracked at the end , His voice going heavy but he managed to put a brave face again , trying to overstep his guilt )
Jungkook : Hyung ( Jungkook whispered , he wanted to tell Jin how wrong he did , where he should have understood his brother ,he again let his emotions overcome him ..But he just held Jin's hands back and squeezed his hand in his own, in an assuring way )
Jin : And when I returned back In his room , He greeted me with a smile despite his pain that I just wished that he was in Anesthesia at that moment when I yelled at him and somehow just wouldn't remember my earlier behavior ..( Jin continued as a tiny sob left his lips on its own. he didn't dare to look at Jungkook whole time , afraid to see the disappointment ) I promised myself to be there for my brothers when they needed me but i always ended up being a bad figure for them ...First yoongi and now Namjoon ...
