The game was amazing. The Bengals won 34-24 and Kalani couldn't have been prouder of Joe. He played amazingly and she was so dazzled by it. She knew Joe was a good football player but something about seeing him out there was different.
When the game ended and Joe had went into the locker room he texted Kalani and told her to head back to the hotel and he would meet her there. She did as he told her to and took a shower as soon as she got back to the hotel feeling gross from being outside. About 20 minutes later Joe knocked on her door.
"Hi" said Joe as he walked into the room. "Hi, the game was amazing i'm so proud of you!" Kalani exclaimed as she embraced Joe in a hug. "When do you guys leave" She then asked as her hands
played with the ends of his hair. "The team leaves in an hour but i'm staying till tomorrow and flying home with you." Joe answered as his hands were draped lazily around her waist. " Wait really!" Kalani said happy that she wouldn't have an extra day with Joe. "Yep but um my hotel room is through the team so i have to sleep in here, but i'll sleep on the pull out couch" Joe said looking around nervously. " no absolutely not we can share the bed... unless you don't want to" kalani repeated. " No i liked that idea."
The two laid in bed watching highschool musical and eating sushi that they had ordered not too long ago. Their legs were tangled within each other and Kalani's head was rested upon joe's chest. They both felt safe and comfortable in each other's arms as if nothing could ever hurt them as long as they were together. Joe felt something for her he didn't know how to describe, the only thing that came to his mind was pure unconditional love. He knew he wanted to be with her and he wanted to make it happen, soon. So as the movie played and Kalani sung along to all the songs all Joe could think about was his plan to make her his.

As the second high school musical movie came to a close Kalani Yawned and snuggled further into Joe's chest. "Are you tried?" Joe asked her while playing with her hair. " Just a little" Kalani replied. Joe knew she would fall asleep but still put the next movie on also knowing she can't fall asleep with our background noise. His suspicion was correct and she was asleep 30 minutes into the movie. Once he saw he was asleep he closed his eyes as well and the two slept peacefully in each other's arms.
