Kalani woke up around 10am and started to get ready for the day. She knew she didn't have to be at Joe's until 4, but she was so nervous she couldn't help it. She got in the shower around 10:30 after eating a quick breakfast. She took an everything shower so she was out of it by like 11:30.

When she got out of the shower she put some pajamas on just for a little bit and sat scrolling on her phone. As the clock hit 12 she decided she should probably start getting ready. She blew dry and curled her hair since she thought it would look better that way with the outfit she picked.

As she began to do her makeup it was around 1:30 and she knew she was going to be ready way too early, but decided it was ok. Eventually it was 3:35 and she began her drive over to Joe's house. She knocked on the door and he opened it almost immediately. He looked amazing and he didn't even do anything that special, just something about him mesmerized her. "Hi" breathed Joe as he motioned for her to come in. "Hi" she repeated. "So what do you wanna do?" she asked as she placed her stuff down on Joe's kitchen counter. "Um there is actually something i wanna show you in my room." Joe said nervously glancing around. Kalani took her hand in his as he lead her back to his room.

She wasn't sure what she was expecting when she walked in, but it definitely wasn't what was in front of her right now. There was purple bubble balloons spelling out 'will you be my girlfriend', light pink balloons and rose petals scattered on the bed, and a pandora bag in the middle of it all.

Omg was all she was able to get out before Joe started talking. "Kalani I really like you and I enjoy every minute we are together, I know we haven't known each other for super long, but there is something about you that draws me to you. Can I please be your boyfriend?" Joe said and before Kalani could even process what she was doing her lips were on his and her arms were around his neck. Joe immediately kissed back and wrapped his arms around her waist. "is that a yes" he asked breathlessly as their foreheads were against each others. "Of course" Kalani replied.

The two spent the rest of the time talking and laughing until their reservation Joe made. They headed out to dinner, Joe had booked them a private area so they could eat together and just enjoy the moment. Joe being very introverted was worried about what Kalani would want to do regarding the public's knowledge of their relationship. He would be ok with what ever she decided, but was still nervous. They came to the decision that for right now they wouldn't confirm or deny anything. They just wanna cheeks it right now. Joe made sure to express to Kalani he would be happy to show her off any chance he got, however she still believed this would be best for now knowing how Joe is.

As the two were in the car heading back to Joe's house Kalani couldn't help but feel happy. She felt something with Joe she never felt with anyone else, and even though it scared her, it was her favorite feeling in the world. "Do you want to stay over tonight?" Joe asked with his hand on her thigh and the other hand holding the steering wheel eyes glued on the road. " i would love to" she giggled as he squeezed her thigh.

On the drive back Joe took kalani to her apartment so she could grab some clothes for the game tommorw and anything else she would need. When the pair finally arrived back at Joe's they immediately changed and laid in bed together. With their bodies intertwined and the soft sound of grey's anatomy  playing in the background ( which she of course convinced him to put on) the two were at peace and stayed in each others arms until they eventually fell asleep.
