Joe was very nervous as he sat in the car on the way to Kalani's apartment she was staying at. He couldn't believe he was actually doing this. He knew it was spontaneous and crazy two things he was not know for. As he pulled up to her apartment complex he took a deep breath and walked up to her door. He knocked on her door and with in a couple seconds she answered it. As she stood there she looked to amazing. She was wearing a black spaghetti strapped tank top and white ruffled shorts paired with her jewelry he always saw her wearing in her instagram photos. "Hi" said Joe as she was grabbing her purse from a table next to the door, " Hi" she said back " ready to go" he asked and she smiled and nodded as they walked out and to his car. He opened the door for her, she smiled said thank you and sat down. He got in the car and started driving off. There was low music playing in the background and they were sitting in a comfortable silence which seemed weird considering it was their first time ever meeting each other. " So why are you in Cincinnati for so long" asked Joe immediately followed by " Not that i'm complaing" Kalani laughed as she said " For right now it's just easier with everything going on my manger wants me to come out with some more music soon and my music producer lives here." " I see" said Joe nodding. Kalani looked out the window admiring " It's also very pretty out here" " yes it is" said Joe as he looked at her she then turned and looked at him. As they made eye contact for a split second she couldn't help but smile. He was so effortlessly gorgeous and charming. She felt as if she could fall in love right then and there. They pulled up to the beach and opened her door once again. As they walked close to the beach she felt oddly safe next to him. They talked about just life in general and had genuine conversations. They even built a sand castle in the sand. As they sat in the sand and talked Joe said " You're really pretty" Kalani smiled and said " Thank you" while blushing and looking down at her feet. "I'm happy you agreed to come with me." Joe then said " me too today was really fun i hope this can happen more" Kalani replied. As they stood up to walk back to the car their hands brushed past each others and Kalani felt a warm feeling. Joe immediately moved his hand away shyly and Kalani knowing he wouldn't make the move, slightly shifted so her hand was back in contact with his. After taking the hint he grabbed her hand and intertwined their fingers,kalani smiled continently wishing nothing more than for this to continue. Joe drove back to Kalani's apartment their fingers still interlinked with each others. When they finally arrived back at her apartment he walked her up. "goodnight talk to you tommorw?" kalani said " of course" said joe smiling as he kissed her hand and waved goodbye. As soon as the door closed kalani smiled and sat on the couch trying to figure out if what just happened was real.
