"I ain't never really been to dinner in somewhere like this." Felicity cheesed, swirling the contents of her drink around.
"I think I went once, when I was little though, Fez took me out for my 9th birthday." Ash kept his eyes on the menu. "Who is eating this shit." His brows furrowed, showing Felicity the unique dish.
"Olives, snails and je.. I can't even pronounce that, most definitely rich people." She chuckled, passing the menu back to her boyfriend.
"What you thinking of getting." Ash placed the menu on the table, taking another sip of his water.
"I'm not sure everything is so expensive." Felicity's eyes were completely drawn by the options in front of her, too lavish and priced.
"Well you ain't gotta worry about that ma, you know it all on me." He sighed, calling the water over. "Another water please." The waiter nodded, heading to the bar.
Felicity dismissed his offer, shaking her head. "Ash, I know you forcing that water down you." she chortled.
"Am not, I like water I will have your ass know." The corners of his mouth breaking into a smile, yet he still tried to maintain his serious demeanor.
"Hmm, keep telling yourself that. I know I'm bouta sound basic but that carbonara sounds so good." Her decorated nails traced each latter, smally imprinted on the card.
"Yeah, I looked at that, you should get it. Nobody's gon judge you for eating some pasta." His face quirked.
"Yeah, okay I will get that, what you gonna get though?"
"Portofino, ionk if I fuck with those seeds though." Ash looked up to be met my the waiter who placed his water in front of him.
"Are you guys ready to order?" She beamed, her name tag reading Lauren.
Both of them nodded, giving in their orders, Ashtray pointing it out in worry he would mis-pronounce it. By that, Lauren scribbled down their words, grabbing their menus and Ashtrays drunken glass, dissapearing amongst the crowd.
"How do you think Rue is getting on at the moment?" Felicity blurted, resting her face on her shoulder.
---------------------------
"Fuck, fuck, fuck." Rue muttered, throwing her leg over her bike, keeping a firm grip on the suitcase that followed behind the bike.
The sky was dark, the white fog being swollowed by the darkness. Rue peddled fast, routing her way to Fezco's part of her didn't want to tell him, but she didn't have a choice. It was reliance and faith in somebody else or signing herself up for a death wish. Either way, there was no going back down new.
Her original aim was to take a diplomatic amount of drugs that would last her just about enough time, not a 30 year life sentence amount. Rue had for sure fucked up a lot in her life, but this, this was different.
The store light flickered in the distance. Rue wiped the sweat of her for head and gapsed for another breath, 50 percent from pedalling the suitcase up hills and the other 50 from the paranoia. It would only take one patrol officer to have her never see the real world again.
The closer she got, the more her nerves built up, she knew Fez was going to be far from happy about this, at the end of the day he looked at Rue as a sister and worries for her at any opportunity.
Fez sat leant against the wall muttering to himself, watching each cat past by, nodding his head to the music that was only just loud enough for him to hear.
Rue pushed her bike to the side, grabbing the suitcase and dragging the suitcase through the door, taking his attention onto the mess.
"Not today, Rue." Fez sighed, shaking his head. He stood up and began walking towards her, shooing her away.
"You can't just fuck me of because you think I'm here for drugs. Well actually I'm not, not this time. This time it will be you coming to me about fucking drugs." Rue protested, midway through the door, her bike being placed back into her hands.
Fez froze in confusion. "What?" He mumbled, pulling a face at her.
"Hm, let me show you." Rue got on her knees, unzipping the suitcase, revealing the contents. "Yeah, well I am totally fucked. Like totally, totally fucked. Might as well say your goodbyes not because I'm going to get kidnapped by some 'really sick guys'." She said air quoting Lauries words.
Fez stepped back, examining and processing the situation held in front of him. "What the fuck."
"Yeah, what the fuck, this is what happens when you plot too much. I literally didn't ask for half as fucking much as this, i only said like wha-" Before Rue could defend herself any longer, Fez pulled her inside, snatching the suitcase. "What are you doing?" She exclaimed.
Fez turned his back to her, locking the shop door and flipping the sign to close. "No, what are you doing? What the fuck man, what the fuck." Fez paced the isles.
---------------------------
"That was actually so nice." Fee yawned, plugging in her seatbelt. "Thankyou Ash, really." She turned to him, meeting his warm brown eyes.
"It was no problem, I enjoyed it too." He planted a soft kiss on her lips. "Where you wanna go mama?"
Felicity's lips tugged at a smile. "Can we go by store, I really fancy a fanta and gum."
"Mhm, then back yours?" Ash put the car into gear, checking the mirror.
"Yeah, why don't you bring some stuff of yours too mine. Your always takin my stuff, not that I care buttt." Fee giggled, pulling her phone out of her pocket.
"Okay yeah, we can do that and I used your stuff like twice!" Ash shook his head, trying hard not to let out a laugh.
The two sat in silence, the only sound coming from Felicity's phone, she was searching for an instagram sound to go over her story of her and Ash. Life felt right, everything seemed to be working out. Finally something, someone to live for.
Maddy
heyy fee i'm missing you, what you up to tommorow?
ash is sleeping over and we have no plans so probs nothing, missing you too
"Who you texting?" Ash popped his head over, peering at her screen, filling the silence.
"Just Maddy she wants to do something tomorrow." Fee breathed, switching her phone of , placing it on her lap and looking out the window.
Ashtray just nodded his head and continued driving. Moments like this she treasured, no awkwardness just pure happiness between the two of them.
In what felt like hours, the store became visible, Ashtray pulled up onto the curb. Felicity grabbed her phone, opening the car door, trailing behind Ash.
"The doors locked." Ash muttered, reaching in his pockets for keys. "It's never usually closed this early, maybe Fez just went to bed early today."
"Maybe." Fee said, scrolling away on her phone.
Ash walked back towards the car, in search of his keys. "Ash I'm cold." She moaned, tapping her feet impatiently.
"Then you best come inside kid." A voice sounded from behind them, it was Fez, the look of distress written all over his face.
