Ninjago Spellbound

Preparing for the journey

Jay was packing for the three day trip ahead of him. Nya luckily convinced Ray to let her go so she was packing and reading all about the danger they may find on the trip.

Zane was reading a Macbeth with Stephany. Toto had been tied up outside barking and winning for Stephany.

"Why can't I play with Toto? I thought Ninja don't go to school", Stephany complained

Zane looked up from his book and told her firmly "well you are how old thirteen and the law says kids your age have to go to school".

Stephany rolled her eyes and snapped "but why do you and PIXAL have to homeschool me".

PIXAL walked into the room and told her in an annoyed tone "please Stephany Ninjago laws say kids your age have to go to school and the monastery isn't in any district".

Stephany rolled her eyes and Zane went back to reading "where hast thou been, sister"

Stephany ground "Killing swine".

Zane read back "sister, where are thou".

Stephany read "a sailor's wife had chestnuts in her lap. And munched and munched and munched. "Give me", quoth I... Okay what is the pint of this Zane this old enough isn't doing me any good on reaching my true potential".

Zane put down his book and sat on the desk next to her. "Hey I know this is boring for you but something we have to do stuff we don't like. As Nya would say "that's the way the cookie crumbles".

"But can I please keep Toto, why won't Wu let me keep him", Stephany pleaded.

PIXAL walked up to Stephany and coldly told her "we can't keep a dog here. I'm sorry but Toto is being given away".

Stephany stormed out of the monastery and went where Toto was tied up. She sat by him and scratched him behind the ear.

"Why can't they let me have one thing, I found you and you clearly want to stay here. "We can't keep a dog here", what a load of...", Stephany yelled but was interrupted by Jay.

"Are you okay", he asked.

Stephany rolled her eyes and snapped "why do you get to keep your dragons and I can't keep my dog".

"Some times life just sucks, maybe we could find him a good home. I don't think we have the time to take care of a dog", Jay said.

Toto climbed up in Jay's lap licking his hand.

"Honestly he is pretty cute", Jay chuckled.

Nya watched the Sean from the door. She laughed to herself a little.

Later that night as Jay and Nya were packing Nya asked "so how are you feeling, about meeting your mom and all".

Jay looked a breath and wrapped his arms around her waist. And she in return put her arms around his neck. Jay laughed "heh I wonder if we still got it".

Nya raised an eyebrow and replied "I don't know do we".

Nya then became serious and asked in a low tone "how many are going with us".

Jay began to list off all who were going with him "well Cole is coming, and Kai and your parents insisted I take them with me".

Nya asked "I wonder why dad and master are worried about this it's not like there is any danger"?

"I don't know Wu won't tell me", Jay shrugged.

Stephany walked into Wu's room with Toto following close behind her. She picked Toto up and walked in "you wanted to see me master".

Wu walked words her and said "Stephany I need you to go with Jay to meet is mother".

"Why, Lloyd said it would be good for me to say back and train more", Stephany questioned him.

Wu put his hand on her shoulder "please there is a great evil out there that you would be a crustal component in is protecting Jay from. I will give you anything you want if you go with them".

"Anything", Stephany asked. Wu nodded. Stephany thought for a little and said.

"I want to keep Toto"

"Very well you should get some rest I will pack for you", Wu said.
