Daryl put his arms around Carol the both of us getting her up off the ground.

"Don't look, don't look," Daryl told her trying to keep his body between her and the view of her beloved daughter.

She was sobbing and grieving she hit him on the chest pulled out of his arms and ran off crying toward the RV.

Daryl and I let her go knowing she might want a minute alone.

When I turned around I came face to face with Austin, his eyes were full of anger.

"Come on," he said in a dangerous tone. Not wanting to be dragged by collar again, especially in front of the people here, I obliged and followed.

We got back to our shared tent.

"Want to explain to me why you did something that stupid?" He questioned, glaring down at me.

"Stupid? You just helped lead a massacre of his family. A family he thought to be still alive!" I yelled, I was angry and upset.

"You are fucking delusional! Just like he is. This was the way to do it."

"No. This was never the way. He will be making us leave now thanks to you and Shane. We will be back out there facing the world. We were safe."

"Safe?!" He said in disbelief, "We were sleeping next to a barn full of those things! Any of them could have gotten out and attacked, me, Andrea, or even you." Why did he only mention us and Andrea? Deciding to ignore that I continued trying to get him to understand.

"Well they didn't, they were locked away like they should have been. Now if you will excuse me I'm going to check on Carol." I tried walking past him towards the RV but he grabbed my arms hard.

"Ow!" I yelled out, "That hurts!"

"I didn't say you could did I?" He said holding me by my arm his grip tightening, his face inches from mine.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me."

"You can't stop me from doing my job." Rage filled his eyes he raised his other hand rearing back about to hit me.

"Hey!" I hear Daryl yell and Austin immediately released my arm and lowered his hand. The sudden release caused me to stumble back.

"There a problem here?" Daryl asked looking between me and Austin.

"No, there was a mosquito on her face that I was gonna kill for her." He said giving me a tight side hug.

"That true y/n?" Daryl asked me.

I nodded, wanting more than anything for Austin just to leave me alone.

Daryl nodded slowly, I couldn't tell if he believed me or not, either way, he didn't show it.

"Shane needs your help with the bodies," Daryl said to Austin.

"On my way." He gave me a kiss on the cheek but not before whispering in my ear, "Remember what will happen." Before walking away back towards the barn.

I looked at Daryl, who looked like he was about to say something but before he had the chance I went to the RV and went inside, finding Carol sitting at the Dinette looking out the window.

I sat down across from her, Daryl came in after me and sat on the kitchen counter. She turned to look at us before looking out the window again.

We sat there in silence for a while, not knowing what to say.

"He killed my little girl." The woman across from me cried her voice breaking. I gave her some tissues. Mrs. Andrew's 16-year-old daughter, Carly,  was killed yesterday morning in a car crash, her drunk father was driving.
