"Y/N" I heard a faraway voice call for me. "Y/N" It was louder now, I opened my eyes, looked around, and felt something drip down the side of my head, I reached up to feel what it was and felt something wet, when I looked at my hand through the flashing lights outside I saw blood. I groaned and took in my surroundings. I was still in a car and still had my seatbelt on.  The car was on its side, and that's when I remembered Lori hitting one of the dead people, we must have crashed.

I then looked down and saw a dead one's face peeking through the windshield. It was not moving, it was already dead. Maybe Lori killed it, where was she?

"Y/N!!" I heard that voice yell again, then I finally realized who it was, it was Lori's. I groaned and unbuckled my seatbelt falling to the driver's side. I groaned feeling sharp glass cut my back. I then pulled myself around the seat seeing that the trunk was opened, I winced, feeling a sharp pain in my arm as I did this.  I pushed through it and crawled out the trunk.  I saw Lori on the ground a dead guy on top of her. I reached for the knife in my boot and stabbed it into the ear, killing it completely and then helping her push it off her.

"You okay?" I asked her helping her up.

"Yeah, we gotta go find them." Lori insisted, I shook my head.

"Lori, we need to head back it's not safe walking the rest of the way in the dark." I saw in the low light of the moon that her head was cut and bleeding too.

"You're bleeding Lori."

"So are you," She said starting to walk down the road, opposite of the direction to the farm. I knew I was, at least on my head, my back hurt too from the glass that I landed on when I unbuckled the seat better, might be bleeding there too.

"Lori, come on, Rick can take care of himself, it's not safe, there might be dangerous people out there not just the dead."

WALKERS!" She yells at me stopping and facing me almost in my face, "Use that word won't you!!" I looked at her, why was she being so mean? I took a breath. She was just worried about Rick and I didn't blame her.

"Lori, we need to stay quiet..." I say gently

"You can head back to the farm but I'm going to look for my husband, which is more than you have with that cheater of a boyfriend you got." I stood there shocked at her words as she started walking away again following the road. What did she mean by a cheater? I knew Austin wasn't perfect but who would he cheat on me with? Was he cheating on me? I shook my head, an issue to follow up with later.

I started walking after her, not wanting to leave her to fend for herself.

We were walking for about ten minutes when we heard a car in the distance. I turned seeing the headlights behind us. I was about to urge Lori into the woods when I recognized the car as one of ours. Stopping behind us, headlights shining, blinding us.

Shane hopped out walking straight towards Lori, "You alright?" He asked examining her.

"I'm fine."

"You're not fine I saw the wreck." He said checking for injuries. "Let me look at you." He turned on a flashlight examining her eyes I guessed to check for a concussion. He finished turning to me and walking over.

"You good?" I nodded keeping my arm close to my chest. It hurt like hell but Shane was no doctor. He looked at my eyes, using the flashlight. "No you ain't you got a concussion." He said turning back to Lori.

"What happened?"

"Looked down at the map, hit a walker, she tried to warn me."

"Next time you two stay put you won't need a map." He sighs taking Lori's arm and trying to get her to go towards the car. I started to go towards it myself, going to the back door behind the driver's side. All I wanted to do was lay down.
