Chapter Twenty Seven

'You!' I spit, taking a step forward. 'You sick, selfish BATSTARD!' I scream. Edward goes to open his mouth but I stop him before anything comes out. 'First you treat me like shit and tell me to go to gym! You don't tell a girl to go to the gym!' I shriek,'then after I'm worn out and exhausted I get chased and have to fight batman! I then get thrown in Arkham where I fight ClayFace! AND find out you left me there to save your selfish ass! I am so-' soft lips against my own cut my speech of. For some reason I kiss back, maybe because I missed him and still love him or maybe because I'm an idiot. Most likely the second. 'I'm so so so so sorry that you think that but it's not true!' Edward cries as we pull apart. 'What?' 'I left because I was out getting dinner so I could surprise you! I had music playing and I hoped to be back before you were finished. I was going to ask you to be my girlfriend so i thought a romantic dinner would be an appropriate-' I shush him and lean my forehead against his.

'It's fine Ed.' I smile. He smiles back before tugging on the collar of his shirt. 'Olive dear-no um I mean Olive would you be- I mean would you go out with me?' He babbles. I giggle, looking up at him. 'I would love to be your girlfriend.' I smile, joining our lips together. John's awkward cough, breaks out kiss and I start laughing. Edward wraps his arm around my waist and I look up at my boyfriend. 'I'll be right back.' John pipes before quickly walking off to the pull up bar.

'I missed you so much-I'm so sorry.' Edward gushes. 'Eddie it's fine.' I laugh. 'No it's not!' He sighs. 'I let him take you, I'm meant to protect you!' I see his eyes gloss over, meaning he is about to cry. 'When I got home and I saw the sky window smashed and bullet holes everywhere I freaked out. I thought you were dead!' He cries. 'Then I saw a batarang and knew that Batman had come so I purposely got myself caught so I could try and search for you.' His bottom lip trembles and he wraps me unto a tight embrace.

'I missed you to Eddie.' I smile. His chest rumbles as he laughs. 'Eddie?' He chuckles. I shrug. 'I missed you too Ollie.' He smirks. 'Ollie?' I giggle. He rolls his eyes and kisses my forehead. 'I'm so glad I found you.' He whispers. 'I'm glad you found me too.' I whisper back.

I lay down on my bed as I think about how much has changed today. I fought ClayFace and made up which my best friend and my new boyfriend. I smile thinking about how our relationship is now official.

The loud speaker makes a small tune before a strange voice speaks. 'Good afternoon patients this is Doctor Hugo Strange. I am pleased to announce that you will no longer be staying in Arkham Asylum but instead, moved to a larger establishment called Arkham City. In this city you will be given back the clothes you wore here and have free range of the establishment. There are no rules apart from not getting within 50 metres of the walls that surround you or trying to escape. Any patients who are caught trying to escape will be sedated then taken to my lab where experiments will be ran on you. I warn you that is very unpleasant. Now this program will take forth in a couple of weeks so please continue with your current schedule for the time being. Stay tuned for further information later in the following days to come.
