Edward leads me down the alleyway, turns right, left and then right again where we start to slow down in another alley. 'Stay there.' he says, giving me a wink and throwing my grappling hook to me. Laughing I sit down on the kerb and get my machete out and start to pick off the metal clip. After about 5 minutes of hearing Ed looking around the place, quietly talking to himself about where is 'it' the metal band flies off and lands on the pavement, bouncing s few times before becoming immobile.

'Ed there's nothing here are we lost?'

'What is greater than God,

more evil than the devil,

the poor have it,

the rich need it,

and if you eat it, you'll die?'

'The answer is nothing which is what we are doing. ' I sigh watching as Ed moves boxes.

'And what is the opposite of nothing?' I can practically hear him smirking

'Something.'

'AHA!' Ed yells which diverts my attention from my grappling hook which I managed to pry the metal band off of. There next to Ed was a jet black car with a number plate of his signature three question marks. 'Hop in.' he smiles opening the passenger door for me which I enter after attaching my weapons and tools to my belt. The inside is just as nice as the out with dark leather seats and expensive technology.

Ed then hops in and starts the engine and pulls out of the alleyway and onto a road. 'Hey Ed?' I ask resting my hand on the console. 'What is it?' he replies placing his hand on mine, causing a blush to creep to my cheeks. Stupid blushing.

'Where are we going?' I ask watching the run down buildings of Gotham through the window.

'My current house over near the port.'

'What do you mean for the moment?'

'Well you see, being a crime master,' he laughs making me chuckle, 'means you can't stay in the same location for too long or we might be discovered.'

'I see your situation.' I laugh as the gentle pitter patter of rain echoes on the roof. 'Where abouts is John I didn't see him at all after we left the canteen.'

'He's meeting us at the warehouse we live together.'

'Cool but how do you know he made it out alright?'

'Trust me I know everything.' Not knowing what to say I stay silent but it wasn't awkward or uncomfortable instead it was pleasant just the two of us enjoying each other's company.

Soon the buildings get less run down and more spread out, indicating that we are near the port of Eastern Gotham. Eventually we come to a stop outside of a two story building and the rain is now a storm. Ed hops out and I do the same, crossing my arms to keep myself warm.

'Follow me Olive!' Ed yells over the wind and so we both run toward the entrance of the building. I try to Cover my hair with my hands from the rain that is forming into puddles on the road. Puddles smash beneath me, and gravel crumbles under my boots as I sprint to the small shelter of the doorway. Edward was waiting there unlocking the door.
'How the heck did you get here so fast!' I exclaim as I lean on the cold brick wall.
'Well if you weren't trying to keep your hair dry you would've been here faster.' Ed smirks, pulling the keys out and opening the warehouse door. He holds it open for me, using his head to indicate for me to lead.

'Hey! It's easy for you to get your hair wet, mine takes a while to dry completely.'
'Never said it wasn't.' Ed smiles, wrapping his arm around my waist and giving my forehead a kiss. The warehouse is fairly big but I wouldn't call it a warehouse as such. The doorway leads into a dark grey corridor with multiple passageways. Ed drops his arm and captures my hand in his as we walk down a corridor on the left hand side. The lights are automatic, switching on when we walk past a security sense this is because, according to ed, if any unwanted visitors came their position would be given away.

Eventually we arrive in a big open room, in a loft style with one huge window that overlooks the sea and Gotham City in the background. The window is one sided so it appears as a black feature glass on the other side. A black leather, wrap-around lounge opposite a flat screen TV and grey shag rug sit next to the dark oak staircase that leads to the second floor. On the left side is the kitchen and table in similar colours. We make our way to the second floor that had a matching wooden railing in a little foyer. Two bright red moon chairs with a black rug and docking station on a black table fill the entire foyer.

'There's only two rooms since we don't get any visitors...' Ed begins but I silence him by placing my lips upon his. Quick I pull away just to tease him, his features scrunching up in confusion. 'It's fine Ed I can sleep on the couch or I can bunk with you.' I laugh, giving him one last peck before a blush overcomes his face.

He smiles at me as I walk to the bright green door that I'm assuming is his as the other is a dark brown. 'Make yourself at home I need to give John a call.' I nod at him, letting him know I hear him before entering his room.
