Felix woke up to the soft rays of sunlight filtering through the curtains. Beside him lay Hyunjin, his sleeping beauty, curled up and looking impossibly angelic. Felix smiled as he brushed a strand of hair away from Hyunjin's face, planting a gentle kiss on his soft cheek.

"Good morning, my love," Felix whispered, though he knew Hyunjin was too deep in his dreams to hear.

Careful not to wake him, Felix slipped out of bed and tiptoed to the kitchen. It was a special day—one that deserved a perfect start. He whipped up Hyunjin's favorite breakfast: fluffy pancakes, fresh fruit, and coffee brewed just the way Hyunjin liked it. Before leaving, Felix scribbled a note and stuck it to the fridge:

"Good morning, baby! I had breakfast and left for the office. Have a great day, okay? I love you! ❤️ - Felix."

Felix grinned, knowing the real plan was about to unfold. He grabbed his keys and headed to Chan's house, where the rest of the crew was waiting to pull off the surprise party of the year.

At Chan's house, Felix walked in to find everyone already waiting for him. Minho was pacing the room with a clipboard, Jisung was sprawled on the couch eating chips, and Chan and Changbin were sorting through a pile of decorations. Seungmin and Jeongin sat off to the side, looking far too pleased with themselves.

"Alright," Felix said, clapping his hands. "Let's get this plan rolling. We've got a lot to do, and I want everything to be perfect."

"First," Minho began, taking charge like the natural leader he was, "we need to divide the tasks. Chan, you're in charge of coordinating the decorations. Changbin, you'll handle the music and speakers. Jisung, snacks and drinks. Felix, you're on cake duty because no one else can bake like you."

"Obviously," Felix said, smirking.

Minho continued, "Seungmin and I will call and coordinate with family. Jeongin, you've got the most important job: keep Hyunjin distracted all day. We need you to stall him for at least six hours."

Jeongin grinned. "Piece of cake. I'll take him shopping and play the 'I forgot too' card. He'll be ranting about all of you by lunchtime."

"I don't doubt it," Minho said with a smirk.

"Speaking of rants," Jisung interjected, "we should probably agree to ignore his calls and texts until the party starts. It'll sell the whole 'we forgot' angle."

Felix winced. "He's going to be so mad at me."

"Relax," Chan said, patting Felix's shoulder. "He'll forgive you the moment he sees what you've done. Now let's get moving."

When Hyunjin woke up, the first thing he noticed was the empty space beside him.

"Felix?" he called out groggily, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

The house was eerily quiet. Hyunjin got out of bed and wandered to the kitchen, where he found the note on the fridge.

"Office work? On my birthday and anniversary?!" Hyunjin thought, his chest tightening. He bit his lip, trying to push back the disappointment.

Maybe he's planning something later, he told himself. But as the morning passed, the sinking feeling only grew.

By mid-morning, Hyunjin was pacing the living room, phone in hand. He decided to call Jisung first.

"Jisung, do you know what day it is?" Hyunjin asked, trying to sound casual.

"Uh...Tuesday?" Jisung replied through a mouthful of chips.
