The moment Felix stepped out of the infirmary with Hyunjin cradled in his arms, it didn't take long for the murmurs to spread. Students who were walking by stopped in their tracks, their eyes wide as they took in the sight.

It was always Hyunjin who picked Felix up, whether it was for fun or when Felix was too tired. Felix had been the one to lean on Hyunjin, not the other way around. So seeing Felix carrying Hyunjin now, so easily and naturally, was a surprising sight. Some students whispered to each other, trying to figure out what had happened. A few chuckled, nudging their friends as they snuck glances at the pair.

Hyunjin's face flushed a deep shade of red when he realized they were being stared at. His heart skipped a beat as he caught the eyes of a few onlookers, their surprised expressions only making his embarrassment worse. He shifted in Felix's arms, his hands awkwardly trying to cover his face, but Felix held him tighter, not letting him move much.

"Lix, you're—" Hyunjin's voice faltered, and he felt himself grow even more self-conscious. "People are staring..."

Felix, completely unfazed by the attention, gave him a warm smile, his eyes softening as he met Hyunjin's gaze. "Let them stare," he said casually. "You're mine. I'll carry you whenever I need to."

Hyunjin felt his heart flutter at Felix's words, but he was still too flustered to fully enjoy the sentiment. The thought of his classmates witnessing such an unusual moment, of Felix carrying him so naturally, was enough to make him want to shrink into Felix's chest.

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean for this to happen," Hyunjin mumbled, his voice muffled as he buried his face against Felix's shoulder. He could still feel their eyes on them, and it was starting to get overwhelming.

Felix chuckled softly, clearly amused by Hyunjin's discomfort. "You always tell me how I look cute when I get embarrassed. Look at you now. You're practically turning into a tomato. "

Hyunjin only shook his head, trying to hide his face even more. The flush on his cheeks was almost impossible to ignore, but the gentle squeeze from Felix made him feel better. Despite his embarrassment, he felt safe, protected, and... a little loved.

"I just didn't expect this, you know?" Hyunjin said quietly, trying to explain himself, though his words were still tinged with awkwardness. "It's usually me carrying you... and now it's the other way around."

Felix's grin softened as he looked down at Hyunjin, a gentle smile tugging at his lips. "You need to rest. It's my turn to carry you."

Hyunjin bit his lip, his embarrassment mixed with something else—something warm. He realized Felix wasn't just carrying him physically; he was carrying all of his worries, all of his insecurities, and he was doing it without hesitation.

As they made their way through campus, Hyunjin started to relax a little, though the stares continued. By the time they reached their dorm, Hyunjin had to admit that Felix's quiet confidence made him feel better, even if he was still a little embarrassed.
