Unfair

The waiting room is filled with the usual bustle—staff adjusting makeup, fixing outfits, and making last-minute preparations for the group performance. Hyunjin is sitting quietly, lost in his thoughts. The rest of the members are scattered around the room, but his focus is on the TV in the corner.

The screen lights up, and Felix's solo performance begins to play. Hyunjin's attention sharpens. Felix, seated with a microphone, sings into the camera, his voice soft yet powerful.

Hyunjin's heart skips as the first notes of "Unfair" ring out.

The lyrics are haunting, raw, and deeply personal:

"My life is so unfair,
Everyone sees me as if I am the beast out there,
My dreams become nightmares,

Hyunjin's stomach tightens as he listens. The song feels so personal, like Felix's pain is spilling out through the music. Felix's voice cracks slightly, the raw emotion unmistakable.

The other members stop what they're doing, their attention pulled to the screen. The soft sound of Felix's voice fills the room, and one by one, their expressions shift from curiosity to surprise.

Chan, however, looks almost... prepared. He knows. He has known since Felix asked for his help in producing this track a few weeks ago. But for the others, this is a revelation.

Felix's voice continues, growing more emotional:

The lyrics hit Hyunjin hard. The weight of them is overwhelming. His breath catches as the realization sets in—this song, this raw confession, is about him.
