Felix was growing restless.

His eyes flickered to his phone screen for the hundredth time, Hyunjin's message glowing back at him.

MY Dumpling 🥟🥰: I'll be back in 30 minutes. Then I'll take you out on a date. I promise❤️

That was an hour ago.

Jisung, sitting beside him on the dorm steps, noticed his friend's tense posture. "Lix, maybe he got caught up with something? You know how Hyunjin is. He probably got distracted by a stray cat or something."

Felix didn't respond. His wolf was already pacing in his head, ears flattened in discomfort. Something felt off.

Before he could voice his concern, a familiar voice interrupted them.

"Hey, Felix!"

Felix snapped his head up to see Jake, one of their juniors, jogging toward them. He was slightly out of breath, which was not normal.

"You waiting for Hyunjin?" Jake asked, his tone casual but laced with something uneasy.

Felix immediately stood up. "Yeah. Why?"

Jake hesitated. "So, um... my guys and I were chilling at that café near campus, you know? And I saw Hyunjin there—with Jinwoo."

Jisung groaned. "Ugh, of course he was. That dude's been all over Hyunjin today."

Felix's fingers twitched, his jaw tightening. "And?"

Jake rubbed the back of his neck. "Well... when we were leaving, I saw Jinwoo—uh—carrying Hyunjin out. Like, in bridal style and—" Jake's voice lowered slightly, "—Hyunjin wasn't moving, man."

Silence.

Dead, suffocating silence.

Jake glanced between Felix and Jisung. "I don't know what happened, but... he looked unconscious."

Felix's entire body went rigid. His hands clenched into fists so tight his knuckles turned white. His blue eyes burned with rage.

Jisung stood abruptly. "Wait, wait, wait—what the fuck do you mean unconscious?!"

"I mean," Jake said carefully, "his head was limp. His arms were dangling. He wasn't moving."

Felix's breathing sharpened.

Not moving. Not moving. Not moving.

His wolf let out a vicious snarl inside his head.

"Where?" Felix growled, his voice dangerously low.

Jake blinked. "H-Huh?"

Felix's eyes snapped to him, now fully glowing. His aura darkened. His wolf was clawing at the surface, ready to tear through flesh.

"Where the fuck did he take my mate?"

Chan and Minho exited the Student Council Room, exhausted from handling whatever boring council duties they had just wrapped up.

"Remind me again why we signed up for this?" Minho grumbled, rolling his shoulders.

Chan sighed. "Because we're responsible, competent, and have leadership skills."

Minho scoffed. "Right. Next time, just let me be an irresponsible dumbass in peace—"

Before he could finish, a black-and-blond blur sped past them, nearly knocking Minho off balance.
