In The Rain

[I'm doing this one-shot based on the Miraculous series ep 1, cause I really loved the series and am a big miraculous fan! And the umbrella scene was just sooo romantic! So I REALLY REALLY wanted to do a Hyunlix ver. of it. And Pls don't hate my work]

The classroom bustled with noise as students filed in. Felix, the new student, walked in with Bangchan by his side. Despite the chatter, Felix felt oddly out of place. He was used to blending in, but today, the unfamiliar faces seemed to linger a little too long on him.

Spotting an empty seat by the window, Felix made his way over. As he approached, a glint of something sticky caught his eye-gum, carelessly plastered on the edge of the chair.

"Seriously?" Felix muttered under his breath, crouching down to inspect the mess. With a tissue he had in his pocket, he began scraping the gum off, wrinkling his nose at the task.

Just as he straightened up, Hyunjin's voice sliced through the air like a whip. "What are you doing to my seat?"

Felix turned, startled, to see a tall boy with sharp features glaring at him. His friend, a shorter guy with bright eyes-probably Jisung-stood beside him, looking equally unimpressed.

"I was cleaning-" Felix started.

"Cleaning?" Hyunjin scoffed, folding his arms. "What a convenient excuse. Let me guess, you thought it'd be funny to mess with the new kid?"

Felix frowned, holding up the tissue as evidence. "I didn't put it there. I was trying to help."

But Hyunjin didn't budge. Instead, he grabbed his bag and turned to Jisung. "Let's sit somewhere else."

"Wait!" Felix stepped forward, surprising himself with how insistent he sounded. "I wasn't trying to mess with you. Why would I go out of my way to do something like that?"

Hyunjin didn't even look at him, brushing past without a word.

The lunch bell rang, and students poured into the cafeteria, the air buzzing with chatter and laughter. Felix trailed behind Bangchan, his tray balanced in one hand as his thoughts lingered on the earlier misunderstanding with Hyunjin.

"Seriously, Felix, just drop it," Bangchan said, plopping down at a table near the windows. "You barely know the guy. Why waste your time trying to convince him?"

Felix set his tray down with a sigh, glancing across the room where Hyunjin sat with Jisung. The two were laughing about something, though Hyunjin still looked a bit stiff, his posture guarded.

"I don't know why, Chan," Felix admitted, running a hand through his hair. "It's just... I don't like being misunderstood. Especially not by him."

Bangchan gave him a long look before shrugging. "Do what you want, but don't say I didn't warn you when he bites your head off again."

Felix pushed his chair back, determination sparking in his chest. Ignoring Bangchan's exasperated groan, he made his way to Hyunjin's table.

"Hyunjin," Felix started as he reached their table, his voice firm but calm.

Hyunjin looked up, his eyes narrowing instantly. "What now?"

Jisung frowned, leaning protectively closer to Hyunjin. "What do you want, new kid? Can't you see we're eating?"

Felix ignored Jisung and focused on Hyunjin. "I wasn't lying about the gum. I really didn't put it there. I just wanted to clear things up."

Hyunjin's fork paused mid-air, but he didn't look at Felix. Instead, he scoffed. "Why are you still on about this? It doesn't matter."
