Takes place 3 years after the events of Heroes, so they've gone back to regular classes at RA.
Heath's P.O.V.
"New year, new schedule," I grinned, looking around at my friends.
"Gee, I wonder what classes I'll have this year," Devin said jokingly, "Defeat the Dragon? Saving Damsels? Glass Shoe Fittings?"
Sasha smiled brightly. "Now that Olivina is gone, Princess Snow has started a writing program. I'm so excited."
"And Marta is holding a fashion class," Raina gushed, "It'll be just amazing!"
"Speaking of which, Marta promised me some new dresses with sown-in pants," Devin smiled, "Thank the goblins for her."
I turned to Logan, who has been quiet since we'd first met up today. I'd been itching to talk to him. "Hey, Lo, are you excited for anything?"
Logan sighed. "Well, considering the fact that my first class tomorrow will be How To Defeat A Dragon, no Heath, I'm not particularly fond of my schedule."
"Don't worry, I'm in that class too. Maybe I'll be saving you instead of a damsel." I winked, causing Logan's olive complexion to turn slightly pink.
"Yeah, I could use some saving right now," He smiled slightly. Though, Logan really didn't need much saving. He might've seemed a bit, well, cowardly at first, but he could take care of himself quite fine. You don't have to be social to be able to survive. Logan proved that.
"Hello?" A hand waved in front of my face, "And you say that I zone out too much. We're leaving now, Heathcliff." It was Raina, of course. It seemed that while I was staring at the grass, mostly everyone has started to leave. Now it was just me, Raina, and Logan. Logan stood to the side, apparently waiting for me.
"I'll catch up to you," I told Raina. She narrowed her eyes suspiciously, but left anyhow.
I started to walk with Logan. "What's up?"
He let out a long sigh. "I'm so not ready for this year.
"Why not?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.
"I got the worst schedule!" Logan exclaimed, throwing his hands up. This was very unusual for Logan. He was mostly quiet and calm, the only sane person in our friend group, albeit a little jumpy. Obviously, he really hated his classes. "How To Defeat A Dragon, Saving A Damsel In Distress, Fencing, Sword Throwing, Ax Throwing, and Fi-" He cut himself off.
"What?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Nothing," He shook his head, some pink creeping up his face.
"What's the class?" I pressed.
He sighed. "Finding The Right Princess."
It was a ridiculous class, but I didn't understand why he'd had such a reaction to it. What was so wrong with it? It was stupid, but still?
"So?" I motioned for him to go on and explain.
"Well- I'm- I-" Logan stuttered, before finally managing out, "I'm not quite looking for a princess."
