Haha, so... Jax and Jack.
This is NOT the one I've been working on in my docs, I literally made this today just for fun because I had this idea that Jack is secretly just a lil nerd and y'know why not make it JackxJax
I am not explaining why I like this ship.
So look, I think that if Jax and Jack were to be dating, they wouldn't be all nice to each other. They're still slightly rude to each other because that's just the way they are. They can't magically fix that with a hug. Of course they're there for each other, but they're not necessarily nice. I've put a lot of thought into that (which is, to say, 5 minutes of thought)
Don't jump me for writing this ship please
If you hate the idea of this ship read it just to silently criticize because hey, making fun of books QUIETLY WITHOUT BULLYING IN THE COMMENTS is always fun! Or you could just replace Jack's name with Gilly.
Enjoy! <3

Jack's P.O.V:
Most people tend to think I'm stupid.
I mean, I don't blame 'em. I did help Alva and Rump to get my cow back (Rest in beef, Milky Way), but I had my reasons. Plus, Gilly was super gullible, it was so easy tricking her-
Y'know, maybe this is why my therapist tells me to keep my thoughts to myself around other people.
Anyways, as I was saying, people think I'm stupid or dumb because of that mistake. Which isn't true. It's the sad truth that I am a complete and utter nerd. Like, I like reading. I learned what the theory of relativity was at the ripe old age of 9. I loved Science. I excelled in Math and Magic. I... failed ELA, but who cares about English? And I have the history of Enchantasia memorized.
So, as a 16 year old crook/nerd attending FTRS, we of course have to learn the basics of our universe because that definitely makes us better people.
Hence the annual science fair. Honestly, I was excited about it. I had a great idea for a project, and not some dumb shit like a baking soda volcano.
When I'm excited, I tend to rant to two people. AG, who's basically my little sister, and Jax, my slightly pretentious boyfriend. AG, sadly, was on vacation with her parents. So that left the lovely annoying prince.
I speed walked down the halls, despite Miri's insistence that I was running. I gave her a not so nice gesture in return to her loud obnoxious voice. When I got to Jax and Ollie's room, I knocked on the door.
Sadly, the pirate was the one who answered.
"Hey, Ollie," I said distractedly, peaking over his shoulder to see if the beautifully stupid crown-wearer was in the room. Ollie looked amused, which was stupid, and it made me want to-
No. I'm keeping my violent thoughts to myself. See? Character development!
"Hey, Jack. You looking for Jax?" Ollie questioned, as if there was anyone else I would look for in their dorm room.
"Yeah," I responded, somewhat impatiently, "Where is he?"
So, I may have sounded a little demanding, but it's not my fault! Ollie just made me annoyed. But I was relatively nice to him, for Jax's sake. Honestly, I was proud of myself for not snapping at him already.
"Relax. He's in the bathroom." Ollie laughed.
I almost had an aneurysm. "Bitch, did you just laugh at me?!"
It was then that the pretty little farm liar stepped out of the bathroom, quickly moving over to us.
"Okay, woah," Jax stepped in between us, eyebrows raised, "What happened?"
"He's being an asshole!" I complained.
"I was not-!" Ollie argued. Jax stopped us both from talking, lifting a gentle finger to my lips and clamping his whole hand over Ollie's. Bad idea. I was very close to just biting his finger off.
"Both of you stop talking," He sighed exasperatedly, putting his hands back down, "Ollie, don't you have somewhere to be?"
"N-" He saw the look on Jax's face and quickly changed directions, "I mean yes."
I smiled smugly at the face that Jax had kicked Ollie out. But then Jax turned his gaze to me and I dropped the smile, clearing my throat and acting a little more serious. Ollie hurried away, because everyone knows he's scared of Jax, and the prince pulled me into the room.
"You need to stop fighting with Ollie every chance you get," Jax sighed as we entered the room, flopping onto his bed. I laid down next to him, to which he pulled me closer and buried his face into the crook of my neck.
"It is not my fault he pisses me off!" I protested. Jax lifted his face for a moment, sending me a look. "Okay, maybe it is a little, but he's so annoying!"
"Jack, he's my best friend," Jax sighed softly, looking at me with those pretty violet eyes that I envied, "Please try to be nicer. For me?"
He gave me puppy dog eyes and I silently cursed him. "I'll try. No promises, though."
"Thank you," Jax smiled, kissing the tip of my nose. A blush spread across my cheeks and the bridge of my nose, causing me to shove his face away.
"So, why'd you come anyways?" Jax grinned, "Was it hard to be away from my hot amazing self for so long?"
I scrunched up my nose. "No. I was gonna ask you to be my partner for the science fair."
Jax looked confused for a second, before laughing softly. "Right. I forgot you're all intelligent and stuff."
"You say that like it's a bad thing."
"Maybe it is."
I laughed at that. "Okay then. So, partners?"
Jax smiled, placing a delicate kiss on my lips, "Partners."
Okay, it was short because I'm honestly a little lazy about writing the actual science fair part, but if you guys want me to, then i will.
Au revoir <3
