Finally, after some time, it's time for some much needed action!!
Trevor drove the Ecto-1 along the road as Dean watched over the kids.
"Okay, so what the hell is going on?" Trevor asked.
"In 1980s, New York was attacked." Phoebe began.
"Yeah, we know of the Manhattan Ghost Stories." Trevor said.
"The stories are real." His sister countered.
"And so were the guys who climbed a building and saved the world, and fought back an invading army of the undead." Podcast added in excitedly. "Not to mention, a 100-foot marshmallow man."
"Wait, that was real to?" Dean asked the kid with narrowed eyes.
"I'm sorry, that's what's bothering you right now??" Trevor asked him incredulously.
Phoebe adjusted the proton pack in her hands. "Egon Spengler was our grandfather. He was a ghostbuster." She said.
Dean looked at Trevor, who looked conflicted about whether or not to let Phoebe and Podcast in on the "supernatural life changing secret". The ravenette glanced at Dean, silently asking what to do here. For his part, the older man gave him a nod, indicating that it's probably for the best that Trevor just comes out with the truth right now.
"I... I know." Trevor said. "Frankly, I've known about Egon for about two days now. And I've been aware about ghosts being real for a while now as well. And I promise that I had my reasons for not saying anything, and I'll tell you later once we catch... whatever it is we're after. I promise."
"Trevor,"
"Phoebe." Trevor replied more sternly this time, once that would make any younger sibling squirm. "Just trust me here."
"Listen to your brother, kid." Dean advised the young genius. "He and I know what we're talking about."
Phoebe looked like she wanted to argue, but one sharp glance from her brother via the rear view mirror shut her up. So, she reluctantly nodded.
Suddenly, the police radio from the car rang to life.
"We got a report of... some kind of animal causing havoc in town." A cop reported in the radio.
"Muncher." Podcast said.
"Muncher." Phoebe confirmed.
"Muncher??" Dean and Trevor asked in confusion.
The group eventually arrived into town, and began their hunt for... whatever it was Phoebe and Podcast were looking for.
"Hey, can you stop breathing down my neck?" Trevor asked Podcast, as the kid was suddenly pretty close to him. "Nope." Podcast replied, making the older boy roll his eyes.
"Okay, guys. Are you sure this is a ghost, and not some kind of raccoon or a possum?" The ravenette asked the two younger ones in the back.
"Pretty positive." Phoebe said from the backseat.
"Oh hey, look. It's your boyfriend, Trev." Dean said, pointing to the end of the street, where Ashton was currently standing, looking at the car in surprise.
Trevor pulled over, hoping that making some small talk wouldn't hurt anyone. "Hey, Ash."
"Hey!" The brunette boy greeted with a grin. "She works!"
"She works!" Trevor grinned as well. "You, um, remember Dean, right?"
"Hey kid, what ya up to?" Dean asked the boy.
