Instead of the farmhouse, Trevor has requested that he'd be dropped off at the motel Sam and Dean were staying in.
As the drive went on by, his mind began to race.
What was that thing?? Is it a ghost?? A demon?? Some sort of god?? What does it want?? Is there some sort of sacrifice or cult thing that he's gonna have to worry about?? Is his family going to be in danger from this?? Is Ash going to be in danger from this?? Is someone going to-
"Trevor."
The ravenette nearly jumped at the voice as he turned to see Ash looking at him with worry.
"Sorry, didn't mean to startle you. But... are you okay?"
"Oh! Um... yeah, yeah. I'm okay." He said, hoping to convince him that nothing's wrong.
"You sure? Cause you've been staring at the distance since we got in the car. And you haven't said that much." Ash pointed out.
"Ash, I'm fine." Trevor assured the other boy with a small smile. "I was just... thinking about what happened back there."
"Yeah, me too." Ashton said, hugging his knees to his chest. "That thing..." a flicker of fear was visible in his eyes. "There's something wrong, Trev."
A flash of protectiveness flared inside the taller boy and he wrapped an arm around the brunette. "I know. I got the feeling, too. There's something in there."
And I intend to find out what it is... Trevor mentally finished just as the car stopped in front of the motel.
"Thanks, man." Trevor called out to the driver before he climbed out of the back and onto the concrete floor of the parking lot.
"Hey, wait for me!" Ash called out as he also got out of the car. He then turned to Lucky to thank her for the invite before the car went off.
"What are you doing??" Trevor questioned, still surprised to have Ash with him.
"You know something." The shorter boy said with his hands on his hips.
"Wha-no I don't!" Trevor sputtered, but cringed as how stupid that kind of sounded."Yes, you do." The other boy argued. "Why else did you ask to be dropped off here rather than your own home??"
Again, Trevor sputtered before he just stopped and stared at the boy.
"Trevor... please don't tell me that I'm going crazy." Ash said solemnly. "We both saw it."
"You're not." The taller boy immediately said before he ran a hand through his hair. "It's just... I don't want you getting hurt from... whatever this is."
Ash smiled warmly at him, making Trevor's heart flutter. "That's sweet of you, Trevor. But I can take care of myself. Please, let me in."
"Ashton..." The taller boy mumbled, finding hard to say no.
"Okay... you asked for it."
"Asked for it?? What do you... oh no." Trevor quickly looked away as Ash gave him the cutest puppy eyes ever. "Nope, I'm not falling for that."
"Please..." Ash begged with a baby voice and quiver of his lower lip.
Don't fall for it, Spengler! Don't fall for it!!
"Pretty please!"
Trevor glanced over to the other boy. "Ash... ah, no, with the face and the eyes, and the-" He whined before he groaned in defeat. "Alright! But you can't tell your parents about this."
"Alright." Ash said, straightening himself out.
"Let's hope that I don't regret this." The ravenette mumbled as he led them to Sam and Dean's room.
