Accidental Sleepover

I woke up. The sun was shining bright. I looked around the room, Lolly was still on Bob's bed, Bob was sleeping on the floor right next to me, and Coach was still in that one corner. I looked around the room for a clock. Bob did have a clock and it read.....8:24 a.m. 8:24 a.m! Oh my gosh! I slept at Bob's house? The rest of us did also! How? Suddenly, someone knocked at the door.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

Bob woke up. He didn't seem to notice us. He opened the door very slowly. I guess he was still sleepy. When he opened the door, Alex and Curt were there. What were they doing there?

"Oh....hey....guys......" Bob said. Lolly got up from the bed.

"Hey, Bob. What is Lolly, Coach, and Berry doing at your house?" Alex asked.

"Hm? Um, I don't know...." Bob responded.

"Did I sleep here?" Questioned Lolly.

"I don't know, did I sleep here?" I asked. Coach was still in that corner.

"Um, well, this is awkward. Did you guys accidentally sleep over at Bob's house. If you did, now that is funny." Alex said. Then he started laughing uncontrollably.

"Alex! Stop laughing! This is a serious matter!" Curt yelled.

Coach lifted his head and turned around toward us. "Did I sleep here? In the lazy cat's house?"

"I think you did, Coach. Anyway, what happened yesterday?" Curt asked us.

"Well, Lolly and Coach were going to Bob's house to eat cake and drink tea and then I tagged along. When we went there, we had a conversation about why Bob's house looks so childish. Bob could not respond to my question about his house and he kept going off topic, so Coach made comments about how he was dumb and stupid. Then he made this other comment: 'That's right, all cats are stupid.' Since Lolly was there and she is a cat, she got really offended by it. So Lolly started crying and Coach kept apologizing to her. Bob and I started eating the cake and Lolly fell asleep from crying. Coach stayed in a corner. After a while, Bob and I took a nap and it turned out to be a twelve hour sleep." I explained to him. Alex fell on the floor and laughed really hard. I blushed.

"Soooo, can you repeat that again to papa, I lost track." Bob said.

"You were there!" Coach yelled. We all laughed. Lolly was still tired so Curt carried her home. Coach went back to his house. Alex decided to bring me back to Reese's house, again. Bob went back to sleep.

"You know, I can walk to their house by myself." I told Alex.

"I know...but..."

"But what?"

"Well, it's kind of complicated." Alex blushed. I think he likes me. "W-well, we're here! S-so bye!" He ran behind a tree. He definitely has feelings for me. The only thing is, is that I haven't told him about Carter, yet. I wonder what he will be like when I tell him. I thought about it.

I went to my room and wrote a letter to my parents.

Dear Mommy and Daddy,
Hi guys! How have you been doing? You'll never know what happened today! So I went over to Bob's house (the lazy cat) with Lolly (my best friend that shows me everything) and Coach ( the jockey one) and we accidentally had a sleepover and Bob's house due to something that happened that is too long to write. Anyway, I haven't gotten a letter from you guys and I hope to receive one. I'm really curious about how everyone is doing. I know the struggles you have, but if you ever get the chance to write to me, I'll be so happy. I love you!

I put the letter in an envelope and went to the post office. Today it was a white, pretty pelican. The last time it was a purple, rude one. I guess the shift changes each day.

"Good morning! You must be the new girl that everybody is talking about! My name is Pelly. I am the morning worker here. My sister Phyllis told me about you. She works in the night. Well do you have anything to send?" Pelly told me.

"I have one letter." I responded. I gave her my letter.

"Thank you for choosing •Fruity• Postal Services to send your mail! Bye!" Pelly bowed and smiled.

"Bye! Thank you!" I waved. I went out the door.

I looked at the sky. I wonder what I should do next.
