[A/N: I don't use tampons as well so... I don't know. :')]

Prompt: Charlotte gets embarrassed because she's never used a tampon before.

Charlotte sat on the bathroom counter, her arms wrapped around her stomach. Her cheeks were flushed pink—not just from the cramps but from the mortifying situation she’d found herself in.

“Mia,” she called softly, her voice wavering. “Can you come here?”

Mia poked her head into the bathroom, her brows knitting together in concern. “What’s wrong, baby?”

Charlotte bit her lip, hesitating. “I... I started my period. I wasn’t expecting it, and I don’t have anything with me.”

Mia gave her a gentle smile. “No big deal. I’ve got some stuff in my bag. Hold on.” She disappeared for a moment, returning with a small pouch. She rifled through it and pulled out a tampon, holding it up like a prize.

Charlotte’s eyes widened. “Oh no.”

Mia froze. “What? Did I grab the wrong thing?”

“No, it’s just...” Charlotte looked down, her voice dropping to barely a whisper. “I’ve never used a tampon before.”

Mia’s face softened, and she stepped closer, setting the tampon on the counter beside Charlotte. “That’s okay. You don’t have to use one if you’re not comfortable.”

Charlotte fidgeted, the blush deepening on her cheeks. “I mean, I don’t have a choice, do I? But it’s... weird. And kind of scary.”

Mia leaned against the counter, her posture relaxed and nonjudgmental. “Hey, it’s not as bad as it seems, I promise. But if you’d rather wait, I can go grab you some pads from the store.”

Charlotte shook her head quickly. “No, it’s fine. I just... don’t know how.”

Mia gave her a reassuring smile. “I’ll help you figure it out. No pressure, okay?”

Charlotte nodded, though she still looked uncertain. “You’re not going to think I’m stupid, are you?”

“Charlotte Victoria,” Mia said firmly, her tone affectionate. “You are the last person I’d ever think is stupid. Everyone has to start somewhere, and there’s nothing embarrassing about it.”

Charlotte gave a small smile at Mia’s words, some of the tension easing from her shoulders. “Okay. Walk me through it?”

Mia nodded, explaining everything step by step, her tone gentle and matter-of-fact. She kept the atmosphere light, even cracking a joke that had Charlotte laughing despite herself.

A few minutes later, Charlotte emerged from the bathroom, looking both relieved and triumphant. “I did it,” she announced, her voice a mix of pride and disbelief.

Mia beamed at her, pulling her into a warm hug. “I knew you could. How do you feel?”

“Honestly? Way better than I thought I would,” Charlotte admitted. She rested her forehead against Mia’s shoulder. “Thanks for not making me feel stupid.”

“Never,” Mia said softly, pressing a kiss to the top of Charlotte’s head. “You’re amazing, and I’m proud of you.”

Charlotte smiled, her embarrassment fading in the warmth of Mia’s support. Maybe this whole tampon thing wasn’t so bad after all.

[A/N: It's now 7:42pm and I usually post around 2 or 3 hours after I wake up (I wake up around 7:00am whether I like it or not) and I deeply apologize that I've only just published a chapter. I forgot that every 23rd my family has a little "tradition" to clean the house top to bottom to prepare for Christmas Eve dinner tomorrow night. So I VERY RUDELY waken up at the crack of dawn to start cleaning. And now I'm finally done and I can publish chapters! I'll be publishing three today as compensation. :'D]
