Emma's Nanny

None POV:

Tikki wobbled as she hovered back to her feet "This is not happening" she muttered to herself, zipping toward the school's security guard stationed near the gate "Stop her. She is trying to take Emma" Tikki shouted, pointing toward Kagami, who was dragging a struggling Emma toward the car.

The guard snapped to attention and started toward them, but Kagami moved quickly. She opened the back door of her car and attempted to push Emma inside.

Emma was crying uncontrollably, clutching the straps of her backpack like they were a lifeline "No. I don't want to go. I want Papa and Mama Marinette" she screamed.

Before Kagami could shove her completely into the seat, the other door on the far side of the car swung open with a loud bang. Adrien stood there, his emerald eyes blazing with fury.

"Get your fucking hands off my daughter" Adrien groaned

Kagami froze for a second, her grip on Emma's arm loosening slightly "Adrien" she started "You are late, and someone had to take responsibility..."

Adrien didn't let her finish. He reached across the car, yanked the door wide open, and grabbed Kagami's wrist, forcing her to let go of Emma. He pulled her roughly out of the car. Kagami stumbled, glaring at him.

"You are out of your fucking mind" Adrien spat "What the hell do you think you are doing, Kagami? Dragging Emma out of school like some goddamn kidnapper? Who the fuck do you think you are?"

Kagami straightened herself, brushing off her sleeve as if his words didn't faze her "I'm her mother, Adrien. I have every right..."

"Mother?" Adrien laughs "Mother? Don't make me fucking laugh. You gave up that title the day you walked out on her for some piece of shit with a bigger wallet than heart. You think showing up now, out of the blue, gives you any goddamn right to her?"

Kagami's jaw tightened, but she didn't back down "And what about you, Adrien?" she shot back "You been playing house with the nanny, haven't you? What kind of father are you? Knocking up the help while raising my daughter..."

Adrien's expression darkened even further, and he took a step closer to her, towering over her with an intensity that made even the security guard pause in his approach "You do not get to talk about Marinette" he hissed "She has done more for Emma while she is staying with us than you have in your entire life. Don't you dare act like you have the moral high ground here, Kagami"

Kagami smirked bitterly, folding her arms "Oh, please. You think you are some kind of hero? What, playing happy family with your knocked up little nanny? What's next? Are you going to let her breastfeed my daughter too?"

Adrien's hands curled into fists at his sides, his knuckles whitening. "Watch your fucking mouth" he snapped "You are lucky I haven't called the cops on you for attempted kidnapping. You don't get to waltz back into our lives like nothing happened. Emma doesn't even know you. You are a stranger to her. A selfish, cold hearted stranger who put her own goddamn needs above her child."

Kagami stepped closer "And you think you are any better? Letting some nobody replace me? Do you think Emma will even remember you once she grows up? Once she realizes her perfect daddy couldn't keep his dick in his pants?"

Adrien's laugh was cold and mocking "Replace you? Marinette didn't replace you, Kagami. She fucking saved Emma. From you. From your selfish, pathetic ass. She is the reason Emma knows what real love looks like. You? You are nothing but a biological footnote in her life"

As Kagami opened her mouth to retort, Adrien stepped even closer, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper "And let me be crystal fucking clear, If you ever, ever try to take Emma from me again, I'll make sure you regret it. You won't just lose her; you will lose any shred of dignity you have left. Do you understand me?"
