[SHY's POV]

Paglabas ko ng opisina ni Tita Carla ay nagtungo ako sa malapit na restaurant. While sipping iced tea I ordered napansin kong may papalapit. Tatlong babae and they are all looking at me. Napakunot-noo ako. I don't know them.

"You are Shy Park, right?" a morena girl asked. I nod.

"We just want to invite you for a friendly badminton game." Sabi nama ng medyo maliit sa kanila.

Tumayo ako. "By the way we are from St. Patrick University. I am Vina." Pakilala ng matangkad.

"I am Sugar." Sabi nung maliit.

"And I am Cookie." Napangiti ako sa pangalan nito. "Why?" Cookie asked.

"I like your name. And 'di ko dala ang raketa ko then I'm wearing casual." Sabi ko.

"No problem, may extra raketa kami and clothes. Don't worry, 'di pa gamit 'yun." Vina said.

"Okay. San ba tayo?" I asked.

"St. Patrick." They answered. I freeze. Oo nga pala taga- St. Patrick sila.

"Why? Is there any problem?" Cookie asked. Umiling ako.

I'm dead...

"Ano... kasi... aware naman kayong may something gap between St. Patrick and my school DFU, right" nakangibit kong tanong.

"Yeah, but Ms. Shy we are not badminton varsity players. Nagkataon lang na we sa you here and we are on our way to play." Sugar said.

St. Patrick and DFU ay friends... I mean sanggang-dikit. Pero when Kim transferred in DFU this sophomore year at sumali sa DFU Jaguar Badminton Team namin, naging matinding rival na ng school ang St. Patrick when it comes to sport festival.

Sumakay kami ng van ni Vina papuntang St. Patrick.

"Don't worry, Shy. It's our obligation to protect you pag may nang away sayo doon." Sugar said and I smile.

My gosh. Frst time kong sumama sa 'di ka kilala. Pagnalaman 'to ng MARS... tsk!

"You know what; you are my favorite badminton player." Vina said.

"Really? Thanks." I said.

"Yeah! Lalo na noong naging double mate mo si Kim noong tournament. Ang galing! Araw-araw siguro practice n'yong dalawa, kasi it seems like you know each other movements in the court."

It takes years since we were 7 years old, noong nagstart kaming maglaro ng badminton. Simula noon ay araw-araw naming naglalaro. At nagtapos lang 'yon ng umalis na ako.

"You know why our school start to get rid of DFU, kasi our school thought that ninagaw n'yo sa amin ang best badminton player ng school. Kim was our badminton team's best player since first year high school." Cookie said.

"And he was never played for any doubles games except his game with you last tournament." Dagdag ni Vina.

"Yeah, kay dati everybody thought that his weakness is to play with a partner. We were wrong." Si Sugar.

At pumasok na ang van sa St. Patrick. It is not my first time here, kasi dito kami dati naglaro noong 3rd Year High Tournament.

Pagkalabas ng van ay tumungo kami sa isang building.

"This is the Engineering Building 'cause we are engineering students." Said by Sugar.

I just nod while we are walking in the hallway. May iba namang tumitingin samin. Are these girls famous?
