"Finally y'all came to come see me, thought i'd never see the day chile" brandi said dramatically as trey and mari walked up to her laughing

Embracing them in a hug darrell walked from out the back eating fruity pebbles

"Finally damn thought i'd have to go to the damn hospital in be on life support for y'all come to see me" he said sarcastically while placing his bowl on kitchen counter

"Wassup pops" mari said as he pulled from his mama to hug his dad, embracing each other in a hug

He let go as he embraced trey in a hug next

"Where y'all coming from ?"  Darrell asked as they separated

"The house" mari replied as he leaned back on the kitchen counter beside trey

"Always cooped up in the house, get out in get some fresh air and go for a walk or something" brandi said referring to mari always being in the house

They laughed knowing it was true

"Ohh yea kaymari u remember that shed i was building ?" Darrell questioned with a smile on his face

"Yeah what about it"

"Let me show u how it's looking now" he said as mari started laughing seeing how happy he was about it and followed him to the backdoor

"I'll be back mama you know how he is about this shed" he said at the door while shaking his head and laughing

"Him and that shed" brandi said under her breath as trey was zoned out looking st the kitchen cabinets

"So how u been holding up baby ?" Brandi asked as trey turned his head back to her hearing her talking to him

"I've been doing good, just working" he responded

"Mhm so how's the love life going nowadays ?" She said raising one eyebrow

He chuckled lowly putting his head then lifting it back up to see her smiling "it's going good actually" he responded while trying not to smirk

"Ohhhh so u have someone"

"Yes ma'am i do" he said matter factly

"Thats good baby i'm glad you're happy, so when did you tell him ?" She questioned while going into the refrigerator and grabbing two water bottles out

Handing one to him he had a look of surprise on his face

"Mhm i seen the way u use to look at him when y'all were in high school baby, he just never noticed but i did" she said

"Do u love him ?"

"I do" he responded looking at her while opening his water bottle

"Why do they think it's okay to ban fucking tiktok, see they worried about the wrong shit" lay said out loud while huffing as she sat beside mari on the couch

"Probably because tiktok know to much shit for real" mar said agreeing as he went to sit on the other small couch in the living room

They were all at rae's house while he cooked, even though he didn't invite nobody being that mar came over to play the game with him and he smelt it from outside and texted the group chat that very moment
