It had been two weeks since Izuku woke up from his coma, and it had been a hectic couple of weeks. First, after he was fully released he was hounded by the media due to his fight and connection to the vigilantes. He was scott-free as All Might publicly announced he was there as his personal sidekick like his own daughter, so he could not be charged with anything. His family was not so lucky, their lawyer, hired by All MIght, tried to argue that they both appeared to help Izuku since they didn't want to see their loved one hurt. But it still failed in the end. Hisashi and Koimi were charged with life in prison and sentenced to Tartarus.
All Might believed it was a foul trial but didn't have the resources to prove it. So, during the two weeks after the trial, Izuku went to multiple places with All Might just to create a public image with him. He said something about it being all political. They needed to be seen together to create the association that Izuku is with All Might and vice versa. To create the image of Izuku the Hero.
However, this two-week campaign got enough attention off his two family members. Somehow during their transport, were attacked with all the guards knocked out and Koimi and Hisashi went on the run. It truly was a mystery how they escaped.
Now back to the current day, Izuku sat in the backseat of his mom's car as she drove him to school. It was his first day back since the incident in Kamino. His mother has taken it well as best as she could. She puts on a calm appearance but he knows she's hurting inside her heart. His little sister wasn't doing any better due to her father being gone again. Not even including the police who were keeping a close eye on them. It was rough for the Midoriya family at the moment.
They arrived with Izuku getting out holding a suitcase with him and a black bag on his shoulder holding the family---his sword. It still felt weird to him to say that the very heirloom his family worshipped was now his. However, he couldn't lie, every time he held the sword he felt complete. Izuku refocused as he continued on his way to the dorms, a new place for him to live.
As he walked through the campus grounds every student stopped and stared at him as he walked by. It was like he was an exotic animal that strolled down the urban streets catching eyes from the ordinary folk. He hated the stares but he kept his head held up high as he continued on his way. Until he eventually reached the front entrance of the building that was called Heights Alliance.
Izuku took a nervous breath, yeah he was extremely nervous at the moment. He hadn't talked to any of them minus Izumi since the incident. Especially, Ochaco not a single call or text between the two. He wanted to but he honestly just felt scared in doing so. It was a primal instinct he concluded, but the main reason why he was nervous was the message he had to deliver from the Patriarch to his friends.
Izuku took comfort in a ghostly hand tapping him on the shoulder. He released his breath as he entered the building. The moment he walked in the room fell silent as all eyes turned to him. He noticed that it was mostly everyone here and well took a smirk as he raised his hand into a wave.
Izuku: What's up? Been awhile.
The room erupted into commotion as they swarmed Izuku all checking on him and wondering what all that flashy swordsmanship was. He just laughed as he just explained it normally but he noticed in the corner of his the past keeping their distance but with smiles. It seems they would confront him when everyone was gone.
It didn't take long for everyone to leave Izuku and to return to their own things. And that's when they decided to walk over to Izuku.
Denki: So, you've finally returned Izuku. You worried us for a while, but glad to have you back.
