*1 week after the Jaku City Incident*

*Inside a UA Bunker*

It was tense in the room as the highest members of hero society and the Japanese government sat around an oval table: the prime minister, the president of the hero association, the president of the Safety Commission, Nezu, the principal of UA, the top five heroes who remained after the incident, Shoto Aizawa, representative of the UA Staff, and several other high tankers from different government departments.

Things had gone to shit after the Jaku incident. Society was beginning to lose trust in both the government and heroes, as not only had a city just gone from the map, but now stood a giant castle replaced it made by some villain.

Right now, the government was not looking good, especially when, on top of all that, people were eating each other. Everything had gone wrong, and now it was time for this conference to discuss what to do.

Prime Minister: What the hell is going on here?

The leader of the country did not look too pleased about being left out of the loop. Nezu decided to answer for the group since he seemed to be the most logical.

Nezu: It seems a demon from ancient times has emerged. These demons have the ability to turn others into demons, which is why people are eating each other and have otherworldly powers outside of their quirks.

The Prime Minister sighed deeply as he put his hands on his head, obviously thinking about career choices at the moment. No one could blame him for it.

PM(Prime Minister): Okay, fuck it. How do we defeat them?

Nezu clicked a button showing three things: a sun, a katana, and a vial of something purple.

Nezu: I searched through many old texts this past week, and these were the only things I could find. Decapitation via a blade forged with nichrin metal, the sun as they cannot stand under direct sunlight, and wisteria poison as it is severely toxic towards them.

Safety Commission President(SCP:): That shouldn't be too hard to get, but there's one issue. I'm pretty sure that Tomura Shigaraki was standing in the sun.

Nezu: Yes, that is where my main problem is. Those are the usual measures to defeat a demon. As Shigaraki has become the Demon King, he has conquered the Sun, and with his other quirks at his disposal. It seems he is nigh unstoppable and unkillable.

The Prime Minister slammed his hand on the desk with clear annoyance.

PM: Then what the hell are we supposed to do!?

Nezu: At the moment, wait and prepare.

PM: What?

Nezu clicked his button again, changing the projection to a picture of Izuku wielding his blade.

Nezu: Shigaraki seems to have grown an obsession with humiliating Izuku Midoriya, a first-year student here. As you all know, Izuku is the successor of All Might and has both OFA and his own quirk. He was there as backup in the raid in case things went wrong, like the Kamiji Ward incident; he left the protection and challenged Shigaraki in the city. After a 20-minute battle, Izuku was defeated, and as he was lying there, about to be killed by Shigaraki. Shigaraki let him live and told him to return in exactly a year for a rematch. So we have a year to prepare, but why let him live? I'm not certain.
