*Narrator Pov*

An armored truck rumbled on a dirt road as it made its way to a city. It soon passed a sign saying Jaku City. In the back of the truck sat Izuku. He was in his full costume, his samurai armor shining slightly from the overhead light of the truck. The light also showed he was the only one in the truck. He was resting his head on the hilt of his katana as he waited for the ride to be over.

It had been a long 4 months since he saved Eri, but also a long 4 months of no news on Shigaraki until now. Rumors that a whole city had become corrupted under the Paranormal Liberation Front and taken over by Shigaraki. And rumours of people eating other people right in the middle of the street. Now they were sending down the hammer to end this, which was why Izuku was heading towards the city in the back of a truck.

He was deemed invaluable, so he would be the last resort in case things were going downhill. He believed that was bullshit as he was the only one that can cause any real impact. He was the last hope for humanity, even if they didn't know it. He needed to be there now. As he was lost in his thoughts, apparitions began to appear around him, all taking seats in the empty car seats around him. All for the 10 vestiges.

1st: Calm yourself, Ninth. We can't start thinking like that, Maybe they might be able to defeat him before he becomes a demon.

4th: Or it might not be that strong to do anything in the first place, and they can handle it either way.

Patriarch: Izuku and All Might fought an incomplete Demon King. Izuku was able to handle it once he awakened, but if they were immune to the sun and able to use blood demon arts. Izuku would have died.

7th: So, what? You're saying it's pointless to fight him?

Patriarch: No, we just need to think this carefully. Izuku would be stronger, especially with his precautions, but Shigaraki will be essentially immortal if he comes out complete. And well...

The Patriarch didn't get to finish the thought as an orange spark went off near Izuku's head, making him look up along with the vestiges. As they felt a chill just consume them, like impending doom had decided to just come for them.

Izuku:...no.

Izuku's voice was full of terror as he looked at the wall in front of him, which was in the direction of the city. A second after this feeling of dread washed over them, a whole section of Jaku just imploded into dust. One second, that sector was there; the next, it was just gone. In the middle of the destruction stood a shirtless Shigaraki as he scanned his surroundings with a smirk. He pushed his arm to the sky, staring at the hole in his hand. His skin was sizzling as the sun bore down on him.

He just gave a toothy smile, showing his fangs as the sun continued to shine on him, his skin still sizzling and popping in spots. The burns weren't going any further due to the quirks in his body, but Shigaraki made no move to avoid the sun as he just stared it down. Until the sizzling and popping just stopped as his skin began to heal over. He then looked to a portion outside the city, his eyes glowing a bright color as his smile grew feral.

Shigaraki: I see you.

Izuku stood up and banged on the door connecting them to the driver.

Izuku: Let me out now! I have to go help!

Driver: No, can do, kid. I am under strict orders to keep you until they say you're needed. You're too valuable.
